Description
THERE'S A SMALL VILLAGE
LOCATED IN THE COUNTRYSIDE
OF JAPAN THAT'S RARELY TOUCHED
BY THE COUNTRY SURROUNDING IT.
But despite that, it holds a particular event known as the Unmei no matsuri (運命の祭り)- The Festival of Destiny. Each year, several young adults are invited to test whether or not their future holds good things for them, such as love, long life or fortune. Twelve selected attendees are paired up and given masks that portray six animals (ox, cat, fox, rooster, monkey and deer) from the village's local legend, as well as the origin for the Unmei no matsuri. If any of the couples make it through the day and night without getting caught by the 'hunters', villagers who search for the masked hiders, it's taken as a good sign. However, if any are found, it's a sign of a gravely bad omen for both the participants - and the village itself.
This story begins a few days before the first morning of the festival,
when various people come from all over Asia to have a chance
at playing the game known as 'The Hunt'.
Hello, annyeong, konichiwa, hola; this is an application story, woot. So you may or may not be wondering about how it's gonna work, who can you choose to be paired up with, etc, etc. Well good thing you've decided to look at this part, because I'm gonna lay out some infomation you might need or want! Also, there's some things you need to know before you go and apply, anyway.
First things first! - the boys of choice are.....drumroll please~ EXO! Who've woulda known, huh? (coughcough anyone cough) Well, both K and M are applicable for this. I'm also making a character, however, I'm going to let the winners/chosen have their choice first before I pick. So you shouldn't worry there. In the application, you'll be asked to give a good bit of info regarding the member(s) of your choice, such as personality, facts, and some background information, but since there's no deadline as of yet, I reaaaaaally want you guys to take your time on your apps. Don't rush yourselves, yo.
Secondly - The masks you recieve are entirely up to me, muahahaha. I'm going to choose them based of several factors, which I'm not going to reveal, so it'll be a secret to y'all until the time comes. Deal with it, yo.
Thirdly - I really don't have an idea where this story is going to go, good or bad, other than the general plot I came up with in my head last night. So you'll be just as new to this story as I am.
Fourth...ly - Rules are simple, really. Be nice, subscribe if you intend on applying, comment if and when you're chosen as well as comment when you apply, etc. There's no password. Ulzzangs only, no idols. I'd like all characters to be asian or asian-american/european/whatever, without any racial dislike or such intended. Be creative as possible, and don't be afraid to ask any questions you may have! I prefer you to message me privately, but if you ask a question in the comments, I'll still get back to you ASAP!
Fifthly (I'm starting to think these numbers are entirely made up.) - To be honest, I don't know why I made a fifth section. Um, yeah.
