end.
Wrong Number“H-hello?” he answered in a groggy voice.
“Hey.”
Kyungsoo shifted to look at the time on the nightstand. “It’s 2 in the morning,” he said quietly as he threw the covers off and dragged his feet out into the hallway. “Is everything okay?”
“Everything’s fine.” There was a pause. “I just really wanted to hear your voice.”
Kyungsoo smiled. “Jongin…”
“I really miss you, hyung.”
“Are you sure it’s me you miss and not my cooking?” He chuckled sleepily.
Jongin stayed quiet letting the other know he was actually thinking about it.
“Yah…”
“I’m kidding,” Jongin chuckled into the mouth piece.
“I know. I miss you too. I’ll be home soon, okay?”
“Arasso, I just wish you didn’t have to go away on these stupid business meetings.”
“Someone’s has support us while you pursue your dream as a dancer.”
“Just you wait. Once I nail this audition and actually start getting paid, I’m going buy us a nice house with a huge backyard for a dog and you’ll be able to have that garden you’ve always wanted.”
Kyungsoo smiled. “Hey..”
“Hmm?”
“I love you.”
“I love you too.”
There was silence for a moment only the sound of them breathing.
“Well I should let you go back to slee—”
“Wait.”
“What is it?”
“What’s the dog’s name?”
“Spike.”
After saying their goodbyes and hanging up, Kyungsoo looked at his home screen and ran his thumb over it. It was a picture of him smiling frosting all over his lips and nose with Jongin pressing an inflated cheek kiss into the side of his face. Kyungsoo smiled. It had been their 7 month anniversary and the cake was delicious. He let out a sigh walking back to the bedroom.
“Who was that?” Chanyeol asked in a husky voice, wrapping an arm around the smaller’s waist as Kyungsoo go back into bed.
“….wrong number.”
