Prologue;

     The cold spring winds kissed his face with much delight, although he winces and pulls his scarf up until it reached the tip of his nose. He was never fond of these kinds of weather. It always made the man feel edgy, and easily irritated, in which he has no apparent reason to explain why. He preferred the accommodating feeling of the warmth. To him, it comes like it envelopes him in an all too comfortable semsation that wells inside of him every time he felt the sun smile on his skin, or whenever a good friend offered him a reassuring hug, or the kisses from the past that he would do just about anything to relish again.

     The man buries his hands deep in the pocket of his coat as he walks down the street of a place he once knew was the world, the place where he truly felt home. He felt a familiar impression slowly spread through his system and an all-knowing smile play across his lips. Not much has changed since he last left the town. The old man who sold rice cakes by the streets clearly still had his business going up and running, or how the café where he used to go to frequently was still open for customers, and how the cherry blossoms manage to fall like it was pieces into the right places whenever it was spring. It was amusing, the man admits. He felt like the inevitable thing called time just sped back and gave him another chance to relive what he once was; what he wanted to be in the present time. He heaves a heavy breath as he strolls passed the café and as he looked up to the sky, a petal of cherry blossom fell neatly on his forehead, thus making his pick the delicate petal from his head and to his palm. He stared at it in awe, as if it has some kind of sentiments and significance attached to it. Maybe it did, maybe it didn’t, but it didn’t change the fact that in contributed to the familiarity of the town.

     He was home.

     He looks to his right and clearly recognizes the stop light that was just gaping at him as if taunting him to recall the things that occurred involving the it. Those memories that have been long stored and ignored inside his selective brain suddenly catches a glimpse of a small light named recall and in a snap, it opens up the things that the man had tried to convince himself to forget.

     Now, why would he want to forget it?  Isn’t it what started everything?
