It’s cold out tonight, but I don’t care

If no one sees me, then I’ll be fine

That’s what life’s about, basically

If no one sees, no one minds

Oh! So cold.

I run my fingers down the chains

And think of my childhood memories...

Ah! So quiet.

With no one around to nag

And no one to scold or yell at me

I sit down. It creaks… 

Shall I start?

Yes, I shall.

So I push,

And I pull,

Harder, harder;

Then I fly,

And I float,

Faster,

Higher,

Higher…

Higher!

If only

                                    Dreams

Were as close

                                    as the moon…

If only

                                    I

Could stretch

                                    For them…

If only

                                    I

Could fly!

                                    For the stars…

If only

                                    I could

Catch one

                                    In my hand... 

If only

                                    I could soar!

Into

                                    The skies…

If only

                                    I could spring!

Out of

                                    This life…

If only

                                    I could swing,

Swing,

                                    Swing away,

To a place

                                    Where no one

Else

                                    Resides…

If only…

If only.

I dream of a time where no one cares

Where no one sees, and no one minds

I dream of a place where I am I

Where my life belongs to me,

Where my life is mine.
