I hate the rain.

I hate how the beautiful raindrops stain the clear glass window.

I hate the thunder.

I hate how it disturbs my mind.

I can’t sleep, I’m cold.

I hate the fact that I’m alone facing all of these.

You were there for me.

We always watched the raindrops falling on the windowpane.

You told me how beautiful the rain was.

You sheltered me from the loud thunders.

You made me feel safe.

You dragged me to play and dance in the rain.

You made me happy.

You hugged me close to you when I shivered from the cold.

You sang me a lullaby every night.

You said you’ll never leave me.

But all of these are memories now.. Fading memories.. Memories of how happy I was when you were with me…

What happened?

Why am I alone now?

You once told me that after all of these rain and thunders, there’ll be a bright day the day after it.. Should I hold on to your words?

Should I keep on believing even though all is gone now?
