Jiyong loves Daesung.

He loves how Daesung is always smiling away like an angel.

He loves how he always manage to make others laugh.

He loves how his eyes gets smaller every time he laughs.

He loves how he always looks at Jiyong intently while listening to him give instructions during practice.  

He loves how he practices songs so much his voice becomes hoarse.

He loves how every time Jiyong teases him, he giggles and whispers his name.

He loves how he blushes every time Jiyong compliments him on how well he sings.

And Daesung knew that. 

That was why, even after his accident, he continued to smile. He continued to practice singing. He continued being funny. He continued being “himself”. 

He thought  as long as he kept on smiling, the pain that he was feeling will go unnoticed by Jiyong.

What Daesung doesn’t know is that Jiyong will love him no matter how messed up he felt inside.

Jiyong loved Daesung.

But Jiyong knows the truth.

Jiyong knows that after the accident, Daesung has been forcing himself to pretend that nothing ever happened.

Jiyong knows Daesung has been faking his pretty smiles. He knows that the reason why Daesong practices his songs so much is because he wants to blame his raspy voice after crying on practicing too hard. He knows if Daesung doesn’t keep on making things into a joke, he’ll never be able to laugh. 

What Jiyong doesn’t know that he is the reason Daesung hides his pain.
