Short synopsis:

Fond and bitter memories has been endured by her after her father's death, living her with her step-mother whom all these years pretend to be a good woman in front of her father's eyes. She knows that she will be forced doing the house chores and also be abused by her cruel step-mother. Her step-mother has a son named Choi Minho who's a good-looking boy but sometimes just being lazy.
Even know she is abused by her step-mother in front of her step-brother, her step-brother ignores her and could simply walks away. She thought that her step-brother will care so much about her but she was totally wrong. Day by day, she started hating him and ignoring every words that came out from his mouth. No one really knows about her father's marriage, even her best friend. She likes to keep it secret from horrendous to other students in her high school.

Foreword

"Dad, why did you leave me?" Yuri sobbed, looking at her father's grave. "It's okay sister." Minho patted Yuri's shoulder. "You don't know how I feel!" Yuri shouted, pushing his hand away with anger. "If only you can feel how I feel now, you do understand!" Yuri yelled, making her step-mother slaps her face. "Don't be such an idiot to my son!" her step-mother scolded, looking at Yuri deeply.

"And you don't have to be such a to my father!" Yuri fought back, pointing to her father's grave. "You little-" "Mom, stop it." Minho cut his mom before his mom could slap Yuri. "And now you are protecting this girl?" His mom looked at Minho, placing her wrinkled-hands on her hips like a boss. "She's my sister." Minho kept his pale hands into his sweater pockets, putting on his hoodie over his head and left the cemetery.

"You better pay for it!" Yuri's step-mother warned Yuri, giving a death stare at Yuri. "I'm not scared, old lady." Yuri stuck out her tongue when her step-mother had walked far away from the cemetery. Yuri looked at her father's grave for once last time and let out a heavy sigh. I'll miss you dad, she said while tears streaming down her cheeks. She soon left the cemetery with an uncomfartable feeling.
