“Chanyeol, where is Sehun's lunch-box?”

Kris called from downstairs, while Chanyeol was in their son's room trying to wrestle Sehun in his school uniform.

“I don't know!” he called back.

“I don't want a lunch-box” Sehun growled from where he was playing dead on the floor.

“You'll want it at lunch-break when you'll be hungry and all the other kids will have their lunch boxes” Chanyeol deadpanned rolling his stubborn son on his side, trying to have him wear at least his button-up.

“Are we ready for first day of school?” Kris asked from the door where he stood in all his useless glory. Why was Chanyeol always the one dealing with Sehun's tantrums?

“I don't want to go to school” Sehun repeated for the umpteenth time that morning and Chanyeol shot his partner a glare, which undertone was 'get you here and help'.

“Why not sweetheart?”

Kris padded over and Chanyeol took a step back, leaving groom for the favorite parent to work. He scoffed as Sehun gave a tiny shrug of his shoulder to show that, at least, this time he was listening.

Wearing a half of his button-up Sehun let Kris hoist him up with a glorious pout on his lips, knowing fully well how weak Kris was to that.
