I am a ghost- never to be heard.

I am a statue- never to be cared for.

A cave of darkness is where I have lured

for all these years, unnoticed I'm sure. 

Do you look at my cave?

What do you think?

Do you think I'm in pain?

Or do you think my pain shrinks? 

Well, I can tell you right now, my cave is no fun.

Neither is being ignored by everyone.

But I won't ask for attention, not even a crumb.

But still it would be nice to have just some.

When I sit here in my cave, feeling real low,

That's when you deside to stop on by

For you, my tears will put on a little show.

That's when I have your all attention.

That's why I cry.
