"I'm not Cinderella!"
Description
Inspired by film “Cinderella Story”.
Lee Taemin, the clumsiest boy ever, but also the smartest student at school, had a big crush on the jock of school, Choi Minho, ever since Minho helped him when he fell down the stairs six years ago.
It was the last year of high school and Taemin still couldn’t confess his feeling to Minho. Of course. He was one of the people who was called nerd, while Minho was the most wanted guy by the girls, included Krystal, Taemin’s stepsister.
But one incident changed everything.
When Taemin went to his last Mask Ball, like a miracle, Minho chose to dance with him over other girls. Taemin was so happy, but every miracle had to come to the end, and his also had to.
On the next day, Minho made an announcement, looking for his so called Cinderella. Taemin should be happy, shouldn’t he?
But he wasn’t.
Because on the night he danced with Minho, he dressed as a girl, not as a boy.
Foreword
An-eleven-years-old Taemin cried. He was sitting on the floor, with his books scattered around him. That was the eighth time Taemin fell that day, and this time he fell from the stairs. Although it was not a high stairs, it still felt hurt so much, sprained his legs.
“Are you okay?”
Taemin looked up to the tall boy in front of him who bent down a little to check on Taemin. As soon as he saw the face, Taemin blushed. It was Choi Minho, the most handsome guy at their school. Taemin never talked to Minho even just once, but he always watched him from afar.
“I’m fine,” Taemin looked down, couldn’t stare right on Minho’s big eyes.
“You seem can’t walk,” Minho commented as he gathered Taemin’s book. “Do you need a help?”
Taemin shook his head. “I’m fine, really. You don’t need to—”
“Get on,” Minho said as he bent down in front of Taemin.
Shaking, Taemin shyly wrapped his arms around Minho’s neck and his legs around Minho’s waist. The taller boy stood up and started to walk to the infirmary. Taemin really wanted to scream his heart out happily. He inhaled Minho’s fresh scent, and he really liked it.
After awhile which like eternity for Taemin, they arrived at infirmary. Minho carefully placed Taemin on the bed and put Taemin’s bag on the table. He told the school nurse that Taemin fell from the stairs.
“I should go now,” Minho said. “You should be more careful next time.”
Before Taemin could thank him, Minho had left. Taemin sighed disappointedly. He bowed his head down, and his eyes caught something. It was a star-shaped pendant, which Taemin knew as Minho’s. He quickly took it.
“Minho must accidentally drop it,” Taemin mumbled. “I’ll return it later and I can thank him, too,” he thought happily.
But on the next day, and the day after that, until six years later, Taemin didn’t have courage to talk to Minho who always had his admirers around him.
