I sat beside her on her bed as she curled up into a ball.

Her face is tear stained as she mumbled my name.

I'd give everything to hold her even for a just a second but I can't

I can't and that frustrates me.

"How can you leave me alone?" she said.

My heart fell as she sobbed harder.

I wanted to hold her in my arms but I'm afraid my hand will just pass through her.

I reached out.

'Please God.. Let me have this one chance..'  I thought to myself

With my hands only a centimeter away, I closed my eyes as tears fell down my cheeks.

Then, I felt her warmth once more as something tingled the tips of my fingers.

A smile etched up my face.

I knew.. that moment.. I was ready to go on

behind.
