Princess of Minuit, and the only daughter of King Yoochun. A headstrong, wild girl who longs to escape her Palace life and duties, she has no time or patience for an extravagant lifestyle.

Prince Myungsoo

Prince of Minuit, adopted son of King Sunggyu. Abandoned at the doorstep of the Palace, he has had to fight for recognition his entire life. Quiet and cold, he is a man not easily read.

Commander Jaebum (JB)

A fierce warrior loyal only to the King, he is famous throughout the Kingdom for his contributions to the country, rising to become both the Commander of the Gray Wolves, and the Commander of the Great Army in less than twenty years. Respected by all, he comes from a noble background, being the King’s own nephew. Confident and ruthless, he will not hesitate to do what needs to be done.

Scholar Lee Joon

The most under-achieving member of the Elite. Son of Prime Minister Lee Jinki, he has led an easy life due to the backing of his family. Easy-going and charming, his only desire is to continue his comfortable lifestyle.

Merchant Jung Jinwoon

Of the Elite, he is the only member not originating from nobility. The son of a merchant, he has assisted his father in building up his family business over the years, now becoming one of the most wealthy men in Minuit. Confident in his own abilities, certain of his own standing, he has no doubt that he will be the last one standing out of the four.

A.N: Hey guys! This is my newest story: The Last Man Standing. It’s a pretty complicated story, and pretty much still in the planning stages: I’m just posting it up first for you guys to take a look. I won’t be writing this one yet, because I’ve got wayyyyy too many stories to write already, and like I said, I’m not done with the planning yet. I will probably only start this after finishing up Hunter or Hunted and My Co-actress (hint hint: yep they’re ending soon, I’m almost done with these two already)

Anyway, this is more of a political/sageuk-romance type of story. Which means, yes, Jiyeon does play a pretty major part in the story (hint: Sunggyu is the one making the final decision about his successor, and Jiyeon is his daughter after all...) and so the lovelines between her and the Elite are actually pretty important. Are any of you shipping them already?

“The Politickers” are also kind of arranged in order of importance/significance to the story and they will also have their own lovelines (cough Luyoon cough).

Anyway, like I said earlier this is still kind of in the planning stages, and it might take a couple of months to churn out, but I hope you guys will support it nonetheless! Thanks!

*Okay guys I changed the plot pretty drastically and made it quite a bit more complicated: to sum it up, I added the parts about the Kingdom of Soleil; I’ll dive into further detail about Minuit and Soleil in the actual story itself, since it’s part of the plot, but suffice to say that Soleil plays a HUGE role in the story; the main characters of the story are actually the “Royals” of Minuit, the “Royals” of Soleil and the “Elite”.

I’m not gonna give away any hints about the lovelines involving Jiyeon/Elite but it’s going to be incredibly tangled up and *hinthint* it’s not just between Jiyeon and the Elite. Pairings for the supporting characters are more simplistic; readers of my other stories should be able to guess: Luyoon, Zhoutoria, Wootae (lovelines may be slightly tangled up between these three couples though)

And, unfortunately, the first chapter still isn’t finished yet. So please wait a little while more - I promise you guys won’t regret it!
