I remember this very same scenery just that the girl who used to be with me watching the stars on a cloudless night was gone.

"Oppa" sadness fills her voice. Sobs of her crying also entered my senses.

 

"Aira, why are you crying? Did anything happened?" I'm afraid to what she will be saying.

 

"Young Saengie oppa. Aina unnie was already dead. Her car was got hit by a truck."

 

My whole being became numb with what she said. My tears already started falling and I dropped my phone as I laid down on my knees.

 

I went to my favorite spot everynight after having a tiring day. The ROOFTOP of my condominium.

 

I looked at the sky where stars shine brightly and I never realized i'm already saying this words out loud.

 

(Aina was now nowhere to be found on earth.

My first and only love.

Why did you have to leave me alone?

You know what my attitude is and you're the only girl who understand it.

I promise to the stars on this night sky that you will be the last girl to own this heart of mine.)

Last year of studying my course. MUSiC. It's been a year since she left me and as she left, she had my heart.

 

I've entered the music room and Kyu Jong gave me company while reaching my favorite spot.

 

"Hyung, someone wants to give this to you."

 

He handed me a picture of me looking to the sky with my back facing the person who captured the photo.

 

"Aina is the only person that have this picture of mine. Kyu tell me who asked you to give this to me."

 

I'm so shocked when she points to a girl on the other corner of the music room.

 

"Her name was Zail. Also a graduating student in the course of MUSIC. I met her earlier when you're not yet around. We talk anything under the sun until we came to the topic of love."

 

Kyu was still talking when something inside me pushed me to dragged her outside the room.

 

"Zail. I don't know anyone with this name but how come you had my photo taken the night before my girlfriend died. Can you please tell me who the hell are you?"

 

I'm freaking this much because I can't explain what i'm feeling the moment I touched her.

 

"I'm Zail. I transferred here this school year because I want to finish an unfinished business."

 

"Unfinished business? I'll be honest, there's something in you that i can't explain. It's the same feeling when Aina was with me."

 

she looked at me and I think she's searching for the right words to say.

 

"I heard on the weather forecast that the sky will be cloudless. I want you to go to your favorite place andd expect me to be there. I will explain all the things you want to know."

 

"Did you know my favorite place? If you do.... How? Only Aina knows where it was."

 

"As I said I will explain tonight so be there at 8pm. Take care oppa."

 

She go back inside the room and left me stunned on the place where I dragged her earlier.

7pm. After eating my dinner I went straight to the rooftop because I don't really like being late on any meeting and I also don't want to see a girl waiting for me.

 

"You're an hour earlier at our meeting time."

 

"Why is it everything you do, you reminded me of my girl? Can you start it now?"

 

I can't believe my eyes! She's came here first? Aina was also like this when we are about to meet, she's one hour advance and I never had the chance to be first on our meeting time.

 

"Heo Young Saeng. Only child of the Heo family. So silent and mysterious. Have a golden voice but never became so vocal about it. You're a good friend to Hyung Joon, Kyu Jong, Jung Min and Hyung Jun. Wondering how I knew about it?"

 

"Of course. How did you know all of that?"

 

I'm already on a calm voice because she was right, the sky is full of stars.

 

"I have a heart failure since birth.

I spent almost half of my life on different hospitals around the world just find a heart donor.

On the day that you're girlfriend met the accident she already know that she can't make it anymore so she told her mom to donate her eyes and heart to the ones needed it and i'm the one who have your girlfriends' heart.

After my operation I  used to get different feeling like looking for someone I don't really know.

I'm missing him eventhough I don't know his name and lastly i'm loving him without me knowing anything about him.

Last month my doctor told me that my health was already good and I came back here in Korea to find the family of my savior.

At first the hospital don't want to give me records but as my dad talked to them they already gave in."

 

"Is it really love you've felt? That means Aina's heart was already yours' and her love for me is what you're feeling right now. Maybe that's why I felt happy when I saw you earlier."

 

"Maybe God answered Aina's prayer before she died. It is to be the one that will have her heart will take care and love you till she die."

 

"I really thought that I will be forever alone because you left me but i'm so much wrong about it because eventhough you're on a different body now our love for each other was still the same as we first been together.

Let's seat here and watch the stars Zail. Now I understand why my heart begun to beat again the moment Kyu Jong points his finger to you."

 

After I said it she pointed her hand to a shooting star. I closed my eyes and talk to God. I never wish to the star but I thanked it for bringing back the love of my life.

 

When I opened my eyes she was already looking to me.

 

"What did you wish?"

 

I asked her as I always do everytime we will see a shooting star.

 

"Nothing. It's enough for me to find the guy who this heart's beating for. How about you?"

 

"I thanked God for bringing my life back. God did this for a purpose, to make Aina happy anywhere she is."

 

We hugged each other and she took a picture of us under the sky full of brightning stars.
