I sit down on the grass watching numerous water splashing on the edge of the lake which still has pieces of ice on it. It’s been a while since i came here for the last time. I look up to the sky, wondering why it can be very blue and the sun seems too shy to show itself. I closed my eyes, feel the wind blowing across my face and playing with my hair. I tightened my jacket around my body feeling the cold. Birds are chatting with one another like there is no tomorrow. They are still the same. With or without him. But I’m not......

Author POV

“Daehyun-ah. Hurry. The new students are coming !”

“Oh. Catch you.”

Daehyun left his so called heaven and heading towards the field still munching his sandwich.

“Make 6 lines in front of me. 3 lines for boys and 3 lines for girls. N-O-W. NOW!” shout one of Daehyun’s friend.

The told one scampered around to do what their senior said, included the brown haired girl. “I hate this seniority stuff. I mean what the heck? They think pick on the new students will make them look great.” She cursed under her breath. She does not aware that there was a pair of eyes watching her every moves and heard her cursed. Daehyun smiled in amusement because of what he just heard. The glint of mischievous can be seen through his eyes.

“Hey you, come here this instant.” Daehyun point towards the girl who has red ribbon on her ponytail.

“Uhh, me?” Jiyeon asked innocently while looked to her right and left.

“Yeah you!” she heard the latter said.

She walked to the front, standing side to side with Daehyun. She kept her head down, never knew that the ground can be this interesting. He hold his laugh, not wanted everyone to saw it.

“Make a poetry for me!”

“WHAT?” Jiyeon looked up in disbelief.

“And make a compliment based on my look. You also can tell how attractive I am” The boy said no mercy.

Jiyeon felt her breakfast slowly went up back to and just wanted to throw up everything right there.

“And you better be good at this one.” He added again.

Jiyeon just wanted to punch the boy beside her straight on his face. But she can’t. Just..can’t....

Everyone held their breath and not to mention felt excited to see soon-to-be-oh-so-romantic scene which they barely seen everyday. Jiyeon gulp a big lump on and prepared to the worst.

“Ah- um...mm”

“Mmm Daehyun. Jung Daehyun!”

“Eh?”

“This hot and awesome boy in front of you who is me, go by name Daehyun. The Great Jung Dae-Hyun” he said cockyly.

Jiyeon bit her lower lip, to restrain her witty comment about him. So Full of himself...

You’re so handsome, even princes can’t beat your hotness

Your smile like the bright sun in the morning, so alluring...

His grin grew wide and everyone began ‘awww’ed and ‘oooh’ed endlessly until her next line-

BUT—That’s a lie

You just one of an arrogant creature who full of himself

You just bastard that want everyone to love your looks

And that’s it, you’re nothing...

A fit of laughter escapes from one of Daehyun’s friends, Youngjae. Soon everyone drowning themselves in their roar of laughter too.

Since that time, Daehyun found she’s interesting. A really interesting one...

End of flashback.

Jiyeon can’t help but smile to herself. A bitter one. It’s been one year since he left. A sweet moments in the past always be a hurtful memories to be reminded in the present.
