Family Background: Umma died when she was very young around the age of 5 in a plane crash, and got seperated from her dad who owns a music endustry now. Soomin knows her dad is still in Korea. When they got seperated she was taken to America and living in a foster home. Then when she turned 17 she flew to Seoul,Korea to look for her appa. Her appa is Korean and her mother is Chinese.

Rich or not?: Not at the moment. But when her appa finds her and she gets known as daughter of a certain music entertainment she becomes rich but does not spend money like its nothing yet saves it.

How were you discovered?: Soomin was discovered while fooling around in the parking lot dancing to her ipod with her friends. Then suddenly some man sees her and starts watching them dance. Once Soomin realizes shes being watched she tries to leave the parking lot but trips. Then this ahjussi asks Soomin if she'd like to become a singer/dancer. She though about it and he handed her his card.

Did you run away before?:
Yes, Soomin ran away from the foster home in America when she was 17 years old. Once she saved up enough money she headed to the airport and took a flight to Seoul,Korea to find her real dad after reading her birth certificate stating who her father was.
