Eunkwang smiled as Melody’s voice rang through the room as she performed some simple dance steps. It hadn’t taken him long to get used to the melody of the song and they were working out a simple choreography for when they would sing. Realizing the part they would sing together was coming up he got in place in the left back corner which they intended to have dark.

Adjusting his microphone he joined in with her as he walked forward with his arms open. The plan was for the spotlight to go out and the overhead lights dim down so they could still be seen but so that there was still a lot of shadow.

As Melody slipped into his arms he felt his heartbeat quicken a little when they sang to each other.

When they went to separate, Melody stepped back her arms trailing down his until their hands caught and held for a moment. Breaking away Melody hurried down toward the right.

Singing the last verse again Melody looked back at Eunkwang.

Clapping filled the air as Peniel and Summer walked forward while Yhinny hung back, and discreetly wiped the tears from her cheek. This was the first time she had heard the song since Melody had not shared it with any of them, saying it was a surprise.

Yhinny knew now that Melody had not forgotten Taekwoon, not really. Part of her still remembered and knew they couldn’t be together.

After walking back together to the hotel the girls split up from the guys since they were staying on the floor above them. The four of them were so engrossed in their conversations about the upcoming duets that they failed to notice the man who had opened his hotel door and then jerked back when he saw them walking past.
