Description
Ladle, Alaska.
October, 2013.
Yuko's life is turned upside when she finds out she's being kicked out of her sunny home in Japan and forced to move in with her dad in the US or more specifically the cold dreary state of Alaska.
Ladle, Alaska sits on a specific part of the latitude so that for one or two months every year there is eternal twilight. For Yuko, the darkness isn't so bad as having to make new friends and a brand new life.
She isn't exactly looking for love with the changing environment but love always has a funny way of manifesting when you least expect it Yuko soon learns as she falls in love with not one but two teen boys in the area.
Unfortunately... Yuko isn't completely prepared to find out that her new beloveds are vampires and werewolves.
Foreword
Baek "Yuko" Sumin
She is just an average Japanese girl who likes eating ramen and watching Megaman. Yuko moves to Ladle, Alaska in hopes of starting a peaceful new school life but that is all turned topsy turvy when she befriends a coven of vampires and starts to fall in love with not one but two mysterious bad boys.
Wu "Kris" Yifan / Vampire
Vampires do not show up in photographs and Yifan might be a vampire. Unfortunately Yifan is also quite mysterious so who really knows why he avoids sunlight doesn't show up in photographs and seems to have an endless array of cash ($$$) to spend on Yuko?
Park Chanyeol / Werewolf
Another guy in the story has yellow eyes. His name is Park Chanyeol. His eyes are only yellow on nights of a full moon. He can be quite hairy and Yuko doesn't really understand what's going on but she can't deny she might be fallling in love with him too.
