You stood in place, rooted to your spot in disbelief. You let your back hit the wall as his face neared yours, his breath washing over your face. You jumped, startled when his hand slapped hard against the wall, right next to your head. You shut your eyes tightly, willing your tears not to fall as he continued screaming, tears of his own streaming down his face.
