Learning Basic Japanese
Description
Konbanwa (こんばんは)~
I've noticed a lot of love and attention for learning Korean, but for all those interested in learning Japanese, then i thought i'd teach the basics.
(I know i know, but try to contain yourselves ^_^;)
First though, a little about me.
- Studied Japanese at University for one and a half years (so far...)
- Learned the basics independently for an additional Year. (that's around two and a half years i've been learning!)
- Working towards a degree in International Business Management + Japanese & Chinese Language.
- Became interested in the Asian culture through Media. (DBZ OKAY??)
- Grew tired of having to wait for 'Subbed' programmes or 'Translated' comics, so... Decided to study!
- I am NOT 100% fluent....
(Don't judge me!)
So, just to clarify, i am not Japanese (or even Chinese). I am actually English, but i am studying Japanese at school. But i am NOT fully fluent. The language isn't an easy one to learn (especially for somebody like me, who does not pick up languages all that easily), so i am NOT an expert. The things i will teach you are the things i was taught in school.
But, sharing is caring, so why not provide my £3000 a year education with you guys, for free (haha...)
So, here's a rundown of the lesson plans that we will learn.
- Basic Pronunciation & Grammar.
- Japanese Hirigana & Alphabet
- Numbers & Months.
- Greeting / Farewells & Basic conversations.
- Time & talking In a café
- Going Shopping & Colours
- At a Restaurant
- Travelling & At the airport
Sound good?
(I'll just take that as a yes... O_O )
In-between these lessons i will introduce new words, verbs and grammar rules, as well as how words are written (in hiragana only, as i have not really learned much katakana).
Again, just to point out, i am NOT an expert, mistakes will probably may be made, but i am only trying to help with the basics of learning, as taught to me.
If your interested, check out my first blog post, where i have started with the first lesson. ENJOY.

(Also, if anyone is interested in basic Chinese lessons, i can also start those. ^^ )
