      "Hae! Come look at what I drew!" I put down my cup of coffee on the kitchen counter and walked to the

living room where my husband, Hyukjae was. "What is it baby?" He lifted up a piece of paper that had two

colorful stick figures drawn on it along with a sun and trees. "Look! I drew us having fun at the park!" He had a

wide gummy smile on his face as we waved the picture around. "That looks great, Hyukkie!" I walked over to him

and wrapped my arms around his waist. "Hae, can we go to the park today?" Hyukkie looked at me with big

round eyes and I couldn't help it but to kiss his cheek. "Of course we can baby." He turned around and wrapped

his arms around my neck mumbling 'Thanks Hae!' and 'You're the best!' Sometimes he is just too cute to handle.

But he wasn't always like this. He used to be very mature and mysterious, which is what drew me to him in the

first place. But because I was being selfish, everything changed. It was the worst day of my life. 

********FLASHBACK 2 YEARS AGO********

     "Hey Hyuk, we're going to Japan on Saturday. I have a couple of meetings out there." Donghae said while

checking his appearance in the hallway mirror. Hyukjae averted his eyes from the T.V. to look at him. "But Hae, I

already told you, it's my mother's birthday and we're going to celebrate it Saturday." Donghae sat down at the

table with a newspaper, reading the business section. "Well that's too bad. You can see her some other time."

That was the last straw for Hyukjae. He was tired of Donghae always telling him what he can or can not do. He

turned off the T.V. and stormed over to the table. "What is your problem? Why do you think you can always

control me and tell me where I can or can not go?"

      "I'm sorry that my job is really important and I can't reschedule because you want to do something silly." By

now Donghae had dropped the newspaper and stood up. "You think my mother's birthday is silly? I haven't seen

her in 3 years because everytime I try you always tell me to go another time! You're being really selfish!" Hyukjae

turned around and headed to the door with Donghae following close behind. "Selfish? I'm being selfish? I'm

trying to create a better life for you, for us! Why can't you see that?" Hyukjae grabbed his keys and opened the

door. "All I see is a selfish, job obsessed bastard who only cares about himself. I'm going for a drive." With that

he slammed the door and left. 

      Donghae flopped down on the couch and let out a sigh. He hated it when they fought. "Aish. Hyukkie...come

back." He tried calling but Hyukjae wouldn't answer so he sent a text. 

          To: MyHyukkie

         From: HubbyHae

        Hyukkie....I'm sorry. Please come back home so we can talk about this. I love you....

     He waited for a reply for about an hour. "Hyukkie, where are you?" Just then, his phone rang and he quickly

answered it. "Hello?" he was hoping it was Hyukjae. "Is this Lee Hyukjaes' husband, Lee Donghae?" Donghae

froze. He knew something wasn't right. "Uhh, yes this is he." Donghae said confused. "My name is Dr. Kim

Kibum. I'm sorry to inform you that your husband has been in a serious accident and is in critical condition."

Donghae felt like his world was ending. "W-Which hospital?" The Doctor gave him the address and he quickly

left.

****AT THE HOSPITAL***

      "Lee Donghae? I'm Dr. Kibum." Donghae shook his hand. "How is he? Is he going to be okay? What

happened?" He kept asking questions until the Dr. told him to calm down. "A drunk driver crashed into him. He

was almost dead when the ambulance got to him. Luckily, we were able to save him. But..." Dr. Kibum trailed off

not knowing how to tell him. "What is it? T-Tell me. Please!" Dr. Kibum sighed, "Hyukjae hit his head during the

crash and, well...he hit it so hard it caused brain damage." B-Brain damage? "What do you mean brain damage?"

      "Why don't you see for yourself. He woke up 15 minutes ago." Donghae just nodded slowly and followed the

Doctor to the room. What does he mean brain damage? Did he lose his memories? Can he talk? Can he walk? He

kept asking himself questions as they approached the door. "Go on in." The Doctor said and he opened the door.

"Hae?" That was the first thing he heard as he walked in. Hyukjae had cuts and bruises all over his arms and legs,

a few cuts on his face and a large bandage wrapped around his head. I hope he still isn't mad at me. "Hey

Hyukkie. How are feeling?" Donghae asked with a small voice. Hyukjae's face split into a large gummy smile and

he started jumping up and down on the bed. "Yay! Hae is here! Hae is here!" He clapped his hands together and

stretched them out reaching for Donghae who walked overand wrapped his arms around him.

      "Well, I don't know how else to put this," Dr. Kim started, "but it looks like Hyukjae is now a kid trapped in a

grown mans body." Donghaes eyes widened. "What?"

******END OF FLASHBACK******

      So that's how it happened. I was a selfish bastard and thought I could control everything and because of

that, I almost lost the love of my life. After he was released from the hospital, I quit my job and dedicated all of

my time to him, trying to make up for lost times. We moved closer to his family and I bought us a house on the

beach. For the first year, it was kind of rough. Hyukkie is more sensative now than he was before and he whines

a lot. But no matter how hard it got, my love for him kept getting stronger and stronger. What was once my y

mysterious husband is now my cute, adorable, loveable wife but I love him no matter what.

      Once we were at the park Hyukkie ran to the playground. "Slow down Hyukkie! I don't want you to get hurt!"

I yelled when I saw him trip a little. "I'll be fine Hae! Come play with me!" I chuckled a bit and went to push him 

on the swings. "Higher Hae! Higher!" I obeyed and pushed him a little bit higher and watched how he laughed 

and smiled. I swear I'm falling deeper and deeper for him everyday. After 30 more minutes of playing, we took 

a seat under a tree to eat the lunch we packed. "Hae?" Hyukkie asked while nibling on a sandwhich. "What is it 

baby?" I placed a kiss on his forhead. "Do you still love me as much as you did before the accident?" I stiffed 

when he asked me that. Does he think I don't love him anymore? "No Hyukkie." I said and his eyes got watery. 

Before a tear could fall I kissed him gently on his lips. "I love you even more. I love you more everyday, even 

before the accident." He wrapped his arms around meand whispered, "I love you too, Hae." We stayed in that 

position for a while until I noticed he fell asleep in my arms. I just held him while occasionally placing a kiss on 

his head. "I promise, I'll love you for an eternity." 

My first fic is finished! Is it too short? I know it . Sorry :P But thanks to those who subscriebed and commented! It means a lot to me! <3333 Bye for now! ^.^
