I feel for You

Description

Famous voice actress and even more famous singer Mizuki Nana tries to bear with the fact that the person she likes might be unreachable. Little does she know, that said person tries to  reach for her just as much. WARNING: Femslash, Yuri, nothing explicit (I hope?)

Foreword

Music had always been a part of her life. Sometimes she depended on it a bit too much to express her feelings, but no one ever really noticed that. Maybe no one cared, but it was her music. As long as she knew what she sang about, everything was okay.

She didn’t know that there was someone who could read her like an open book. Not that she could’ve known that, they kept it a secret.

“Thank you for the hard work!” Her co-workers and staff eagerly shouted, as she made her way towards her dressing room. Well, it wasn’t just her dressing room. As always, with concerts as big as these, many singers and voice actors had to share with at least one other person. She herself had a shared room with one of her fellow singers and long-time friend Tamura Yukari.

She hoped she arrived before her energetic friend, not that she minded being the last to arrive, but from time to time she enjoyed the calm silence she could attain, when she was alone.

Arriving at her destination, a wooden door with a yellow star, as well as two name-plates reading ‘Mizuki Nana’ and ‘Tamura Yukari’, she opened the blockade and stepped inside. She was in luck, the room was silent and empty, save for the costumes and their personal things that were kept safe inside. A couch was placed on the wall to her right, accompanied by a small table and a big cushioned seat. Next to it, in the corner, stood a small refrigerator, which was still filled with cool beverages and small snacks for the guests of the concert.

She didn’t need to do much thinking to finalize her decision to grab a bottle of cool water out of the fridge and make herself comfortable on the couch. The singer opened the bottle and took a sip before closing her eyes and falling back against the couch in a lying position.

Concerts like these… were always exhausting. Having to deal with the fact that you had to duet with the person you liked, added to the exhaustion even more. Not that she minded, of course. She was happy, unbearably happy to sing with them, but it also helped her to constantly remind her of one important fact.

They lived in a time period, in which these kind of relationships aren’t always looked upon with sparkling happy smiles.

They lived in a time, in which same- relationships were frowned upon.
