Endless reports, too many reviewers for exams, what a hell week ahead for both of us! I shook my head and leaned my tired body on the sofa while my partner was on the floor reading some physics stuff.

I was eyeing her then she suddenly giggled; closed the book; looked at me and said;

“Let’s play a game!”

I chuckled. A game? In time like this when things were just nothing but pain in the ? I boringly looked at her; waved my hands on the air then said;

“We don’t have time to play.”

“We do!”

She happily insisted. God, I shouldn’t let her eat sweets at this kind of day. It was midnight and we’re ought to stay up late reviewing stuffs for we are representing the school for the quiz bee. I hate to admit it but the five cups of coffee can’t make me hyper at this hour.

“What are you up to?”

I then asked drinking my coffee straight as she widely smile; sat on the sofa; inching her body closer to mine making me shiver and said;

“Let’s play truth or dare.”

I tried to move away even a bit but she scooped closer and closer everytime I tried to move away making me feel hotter in a matter I can’t explain.

“Alright, let’s get it on if you insist.”

I said making her giggle; pinched my cheeks making me blush a bit and asked;

“Truth or dare, buddy?”

I scratch my head and just boringly spat to stop this silly thing and go back reviewing.

“Dare.”

She kept quiet in a while, play with her soft hands then lowly said bowing her head;

“I--- I dare you to--- I---”

“What?”

“I dare you to love me.”

She said making me laugh and lifted her chin to look deep in her beautiful eyes;

“Let me correct that, sweetie pie.”

She looked at me confusingly as i lightly kissed her lips and say;

“That’s the truth. I love you!”

She slapped my arms and said;

“Cheesy!”

I laughed; hugged her tight and review the things we had to review and start the day connecting our hearts after a long fight and hiding it to one another.

Now, I’m gonna thank the school for pushing us to have this overnight studies!

I don’t just learned, I earned love … ♥
