"Myungsoo! Don't go tonight, please," Inkyung trembles slightly, her eyes are filled with tears as she staggers across the room breathlessly; one hand reaching out towards Myungsoo and the other hand on her pump, round stomach, "at least stay for the baby?"

Myungsoo's breath hitches but takes a step backwards and gives in. "Alright."

Inkyung smiles – and entangles herself in her husband's arms. Myungsoo turns his head away from the pregnant women and sighs while staring at the door apologetically.

Sungyeol beams to himself as he blows out puffs of cold air, watching in delight as the smoke seemingly vanishes throughout the dark night. It was late at night - but Sungyeol couldn't leave yet. Just a little longer. He rubbed his hands together for warmth, but the smile did not leave his face as he continues waiting, continues wishing, continues being a foolish in love.

A/N : Not really my style of writing and I never wrote this type of genre before, but I watched plenty of historical dramas (esp the Chinese ones) so I figured I wanted to try this. Forbidden love is one of the main ideas in all historical dramas I watched so far, and I was really inspired by all of it and (some) of the endings. Poster (c) to sapphirequeen.  Also kinda given up on the Myungyeol tag - there's freaking other pairing fics with Myungyeol mentioned once every 10 chapters....should tag woogyu and yadong on this fic even though they'll (probably) never appear tbh.
