Foreword
Hello! Welcome to angelesca's 5th story in asianfanfics! Once again, I've opted for the fantasy genre :D
A bit of trivia: I dreamed up the concept of my 3rd story, Suddenly Royal. But for this story, I practically dreamed up the whole thing. Yayy for hypnagogia~~ :O
Place: a fictional city named Muinsit. It rarely rains here, causing the city to import water from neighboring cities.
Landscape: similar to the Middle Ages, with wooden cottages and stone castles
People:
- Magicians: those who have the ability to wield/control the forces of nature. This ability is hereditary.
- Blacksmiths: those with the ability to craft high quality weapons and armor. This ability is also hereditary.
- Regulars: those who are neither magicians or blacksmiths.
Lineage: Sorry about the math o.O
- When both parents are magicians or blacksmiths, the child is a magician or a blacksmith, respectively. (M + M = M, B + B = B)
- When one parent is a magician and the other parent is a blacksmith, the child has 1/2 chance of being a magician and 1/2 chance of being a blacksmith. (M + B = M or B)
- When one parent is regular and the other parent is a magician or a blacksmith, the child has 1/2 chance of being a magician or blacksmith, respectively. (M + R = M or R, B + R = B or R)
- When both parents are regulars, the child is regular (R + R = R)
Length: around 15 chapters
