Jessica just arrived back from US…She’s just so happy to be back to a place where she can be so lazy again. With her huge luggage’s, she’s waiting for her bestfriend to fetch her.

“HEY LAZY BLONDE!!! OVER HERE!!!” Hyoyeon shouted,Sica’s bestfriend

“YAH! ANOTHER BLONDE, CARE TO HELP ME WITH ALL THIS?” Sica shouted back while carrying all her luggages

“I swear to the Goddess of Blondes and laziness, I missed you!” she said as she hugged Sica

“I missed you too like so much…back there I have to work my off like 100x more, it’s sooo gooood to be back”

“err…by the way,I heard you’re still going to work there”

“by there, you mean working with that Byuntae right?”

“well…yea…your…”

“my dearest EX?...i have no problem with that hyo and isn’t that exciting?”

Till when did working with your ex had been so exciting? Knowing this lazy bum I know there is something inside her crazy head. But when she says it’s exciting, it means FUN.

 

“So when are you planning to start?” Hyo asked her bestfriend

“as soon as possible…” Sica answered lazily

“and when is that ASAP?” she asked again

“tomorrow Hyo…”

“are you that excited? Have some vacation at least…” hyo suggested

“actually yes, I am that excited…vacation? Now, who’s the lazy blonde now? As my secretary, please do arrange my schedules by tomorrow and as my bestfriend let me sleep for now.” she said and kissed hyoyeon’s cheek

“same old sica, sleep tight blonde” hyo uttered

“ya…im not old…” sica murmured

“I didn’t meant old for age, pabo!”

“whatever”

The Next Day…

“YA! Sica-ah! MOVE YOUR LAZY BUM! ” Hyo shouted trying to wake up the Sleeping Beauty

“…..”

“wake up N-O-W !!!” Hyo said throwing pillows to Sica

“…..” but still no response

“oh Goddess of kindness and patience please give me strength not to kill my bestfriend” hyoyeon plead clasping her hands together

“YA! Do I have to call your Prince and kiss you just to wake you up?”

“…..”

“okay you give me no choice…now where’s your phone….” Hyo grabbed Sica’s phone and looked through her phonebook…

“GOTCHA!You still got Taeyeon’s number huh…okay…press CAL--- OUCH!!! ”

“DON’T YOU DARE!” Sica throw a pillow on hyoyeon and bolted up from her bed then she grabbed her phone away from her bestfriend

“Finally! Damn, good thing there’s an alternative from cucumber” Hyo said

“what did you just said??”

“nothing…I said you have to move fast Miss Jung since you’re gonna be late for your first day Miss Jung okay Miss Jung?” Hyoyeon teased and Sica just rolled her eyes and made her way to the bathroom

“geez Sica! We’re so late!” Hyoyeon hissed while driving

“I need to prepare you know…” Sica defended

“Trying to impress The Boss?”

“as if, anyways you hungry?”  Sica asked

“tsk,trying to change the subject…”Hyo muttered

“what?”

“I said let’s just grab a coffee since we’re sooooo L A T E…Gosh! Being your bestfriend/secretary/driver/cook/alarm clock is no joke you know” Hyoyeon complained

“I missed being just a bestfriend and secretary you know…” Hyo said sighing trying to tease the girl

“and by that means….?” Sica asked

“Bringing back your Driver/Cook/alarmclock/kisser/hugger/lover/stress reliever/partner in bed/partner in moan--- YAH! I’M DRIVING!” Hyoyeon is trying to hide her laugh since it is clear that her bestfriend still have something to the boss but in spite  of all that she’s still worried about her bestfriend, knowing  Sica, She’s good on hiding her emotions…but not to her…

“Cut off the bull hyo…” Sica said seriously

“fine fine, anyways I’ll drop you first there since your meeting should’ve started like 2 hours ago…I’ll just drop your coffee to your office…” hyo said

“I’m that late?!”

“no worries, I bet that’s not new for them…now….here we are…”

“thanks hyo, you’re the best” Sica said kissing her bestfriend’s cheek

“I know” Hyoyeon boasted and Sica just meronged her

“ohh..Sica I almost forgot…You still know the boss’ office right?”

“I guess, what about it?”

“that’s where you’re heading” Hyo said cheekily

“okay…thanks” Sica said and gave Hyoyeon a thumbs up

“did she really moved on already?...” Hyoyeon talked to herself

Hyoyeon is also a close friend of Taeyeon, Yes she wanted to the two to get back together but that would be hard since Tae is still with Tiffany and hell yes she was mad on what Taeyeon did…well VERY MAD that she even bruised Taeyeon not caring if she’s her boss but Taeyeon didn’t fired her or did something about it, she even apologize and plead for Hyoyeon not to leave her company. Good thing is they’re on the good state again.

“good…good morning Miss Jung, welcome back” one of the employee greeted her

“good…good morning too keke” Jessica greeted back teasing

“relax…and what’s with the Miss Jung? You know that I prefer simple Jessica, just like the old times okay?” Jessica added being polite and patted the employee’s shoulder

Every person in the company is in awe when Jessica passed by, walking elegant as always, greeting politely and giving her warm smile. Once she was about to enter the elevator…

“I missed you all guys, let’s chat later after my meeting with THE BOSS” she waved jumping cutely and winked making her co-workers laugh…

“same old sica…” they said and chuckled

“yea, and she’s late..as always” and they all laugh

Sica knocked twice and hearing the boss saying for her to come in makes her kinda nervous…

Oh sheez! Why am I even nervous? okay…relax, just act like nothing happen…breath in…breath out…GAME!

“Good Morning Boss, Sorry I’m Late…” Sica greeted and bowed…Taeyeon frowned after hearing the word Boss

You’ve gotten more beautiful…taeyeon thought to herself

“Good Morning Sica, and about being late, that’s nothing new” Taeyeon chuckled but Jessica just remained silent

“uhmm…Sica about…”Taeyeon started

“about the project Boss...” Jessica continued not wanting to hear anything about the past

“Sica…”

“I prefer Miss Jung Boss” Jessica insisted

“ugh! Enough with the Boss… Can you just call me like you used to?  Anyways, I just called you here just to welcome you back, So well come back Sica let’s just discuss the project later along with the others…” Taeyeon said a bit frustrated

“Is that all Boss?” Sica asked as she gets off from her seat

“one more thing…”Taeyeon  said

“yes?”

“I prefer Taengoo” Taeyeon said shyly in command

“I’m here to work Boss…Nothing else…” Sica said and getting ready for leave

“okay, here’s the deal…If you’re late tomorrow, NO MORE BOSS, you’ll call me Taengoo and I’ll call you whatever I like…got it MISS JUNG” Taeyeon said teasing sica

“okay…BOSS” Sica smirked making Taeyeon groaned

“indeed…I just wanted to hug her a while ago but I guess I don’t have the guts to do that…I missed her so much Hyo…” She said with a hint of sadness and Hyoyeon started singing…

“Don’t start with me Hyo…” Taeyeon said

“why? I just remembered that song suddenly; don’t tell me you’re affected by that song?” Hyoyeon asked innocently and Taeyeon just rolled her eyes

“anyways…Goodluck” Hyoyeon said

“for?” Taeyeon asked confused

“You’ll need that…Come on now…the meeting should start by now…” Hyo said and dragged the still oblivious Taeyeon

The Meeting

“First of all let’s all welcome back Sica…uhh I mean Miss Jung” Taeyeon started making the others smile cheekily. They all clapped for Jessica and she thanked them and bowed

“So let’s not waste time?  We need to have some fresh ideas for our readers won’t get bored. We need to earn the reader’s attention and trust…” Taeyeon started…

“It’s easy to earn reader’s attention but to earn their trust, we’ll have to work on that…” Jessica continued…

Now this is what this lazy bum talking about exciting…Hyoyeon thought to herself enjoying the scene

“We’re talking about work Miss Jung”  Taeyeon said

“Who said we’re not? I just heard that you’ve lost almost 30% of your readers and that’s a lot…so it means that you’ve lost the trust of your readers’ right?” Jessica said professionally while others just nod but still in awe

“So you’ve gone for a long time I hope that you can solve the problem here Miss Jung” Taeyeon said

“Just me? Now I guess that’s one the problem here, why am I the only one who should think of a plan to earn the reader’s trust? As far as I know I’m NOT the one who made them lose their trust Boss… Do you think that if it’s just an one sided effort , it will work?” Jessica answered

Uh oh…now it’s starting to get hot in here…hyoyeon thought once again

“Maybe because you left us hanging Miss Jung…” Taeyeon answered back

“Don’t put everything on me Boss, this should be a team, everyone must work, and if the other one takes a mean time leave that should make you more persistent in making everything work not the other way around…” Jessica said a bit aggressive

“okay okay… uhh...Let’s have a break?” Hyoyeon entered the scene making the others agree and Jessica is the first person to leave followed by the others leaving Hyoyeon and taeyeon alone in the room

“wow, it’s hot in here Tae…”

“Shut up Hyo!”

“just saying…”

“I guess I know what does that gooduck means…how will this work Hyo…Us being like this…”

“Come on Tae, Don’t tell me you’re giving up? Again… and you know that you must not take this personally right? Like what you said, we’re talking about work here…”

“Sounds easy though…I just don’t know what do now Hyo… I’m just no good…”

“Don’t say that, but to tell you honestly though, You had it in you, You got the best in you…but…I witness that when you’re with her… uhh…so…let’s go now?” Hyo said patting her friend’s back

“go ahead,I’ll just follow” Taeyeon said and buried her face into her palms not knowing what to do…

“oh Tae!” hyo called before going out

“yea?”

“uhh…Here comes trouble~” Hyo said and dashed out

“eh?!” taeyeon was just dumfounded and then…

“Hey there Shikshin” Hyoyeon greeted Sooyoung, one of their close friends, Taeyeon’s bestfriend/secretary

“Hey Choding! Back there was extremely hot” Soo said

“you’ve got that right…and what makes it more hot is Tiffany just entered the scene, she’s on with Tae right now, I bet the midget will go nuts..” Hyo said with Soo agreeing with her

“are they on Tae’s office now?” Sooyoung asked

“maybe they are already, why?” Hyo asked

“nothing, you know where Sica is?” Sooyoung asked smirking

“tsk tsk, naughty you, you know what you’re gonna get after right?” Hyo said shaking her head but she liked the idea

“just me? We’re on this together, now where’s your boss? My boss is waiting keke” Sooyoung asked putting her arm around.

“oh damn, we’re soooo  going to be confined after this Soo…” Hyo said

“come on now, they have to meet anyways, we’re just making the way…” Soo defended

“yea, a way to hell… but anyways, it’s now or never” hyo complied

“yea, and it’s just to make them realize…” Soo added and hyo just nod knowing what Soo meant by that.

“Hyo? Why you didn’t tell me?” Sica shifted her gaze to her bestfriend

“eh? I don’t know about it, and I’m not Tae secretary anyway, Soo didn’t inform me as well” Hyo answered acting innocently

“Sica-ah, it was out of the line, it’s not Hyo’s fault, Tae just wanted a talk I guess” Sooyoung defended

“uhh..okay then” Sica said but she remained in her seat

“uhh…Sica-ah…it’s kinda urgent…” Sooyoung said

“aish that…Ugh!” Sica just stormed out of her office making the two laugh…

“we’re so dead after this” Soo said laughing

“pay for my hospital bill!” Hyo added and laughed

“now what does she wants?!” Sica said irritably making her way to the boss

She knocks two times and gets inside once she heard the cue… Sica gets a bit stiffened when she saw that it’s now only The Boss who’s inside…but with Tiffany as well…Tae’s GIRLFRIEND

“Sica-ah…I mean Miss Jung, what makes you come here?” Taeyeon asked a bit nervous not knowing what to  say or do…

“uhh…Sooyoung said you need a talk with me…urgently…” Sica said…Then she just realized that she’s been tricked with her friends

I swear to all of Goddess you two are so gonna get something… Sica thought as she were boiling up inside

You’re so dead Choi Shikshin! Taeyeon thought

“ohh…I guess she was just mistaken” Taeyeon said smiling nervously

“uhh…by the way…Sic—Miss Jung uhh…meet Tiffany, Tiffany meet…Miss Jessica Jung” Taeyeon introduced the two trying her best to act normal

“It’s nice to meet you Miss Tiffany-shi” Jessica said politely

“Same here, and just call me Tiffany” Tiffany said and flashed her eyesmile to Jessica

Now now…I guess that’s why… She’s pretty and knowing this Byuntae I can see it clearly by this girl’s behind…Aish, why am I even thinking of that!? Jessica thought

“uhh. Sorry to disturb you two, I’ll go now” Jessica said and take her leave… after closing the door she held her chest as if that she can’t breathe…

“what was that? Did my heart just ache because of that? No no no, You just moved on, you’re okay now…you’re cool with it…You’re going to be just fine Sica…” She said to herself while making her way to her office,but before that she walked over Sooyoung’s desk and grabbed all Soo’s food away…

“ya ya ya…Sica-ah…not my beloved foods” Sooyoung pleaded trying to get her two bags of her food and Sica just glared at her

“bye bye foods” Soo said defeatedly, She looked at Hyo and lined her thumb to her neck

“AND YOU! LET’S GO!” Sica glared at her bestfriend and Hyo just gulped

The whole ride was just silent… Jessica was obviously in Hellsica mode and Hyoyeon felt guilty about it thinking that they’ve gone too far…

“Sica-ah…I’m sorry” Hyo said sincerely

“Why am I hurt seeing them Hyo? I thought I’m all okay now but seeing them together...just like that…all the pain flooded back….” Sica said wiping her tears…Hyoyeon Stopped driving and hugged her bestfriend...feeling more guilt inside her…she caress her bestfriend’s back

Few Days Later

“Here, Don’t stress yourself too much…” Taeyeon said putting the coffee with a 3 cookies down to Sica’s table…

“uhh..thanks…” Sica said and Taeyeon smiled making her smile as well

Taeyeon did this everyday…She is actually happy doing it…It’s been her everyday routine…just like before…

But for sica…it’s wrong…though she is happy with all that, it’s still wrong for her…

Weeks have passed and Jessica couldn’t take it anymore…the next day she didn’t go to the company… She ask Hyoyeon to fixed her resignation letter…Hyoyeon just complied since she knows that her bestfriend is hurting with everything that’s happening

Taeyeon couldn’t contact Sica, though how many times she pleaded to Hyoyeon to tell where Jessica is, Hyo being Sica’s Bestfriend she didn’t gave in though Taeyeon is a close friend.

“Please Hyo…I’m not asking you to tell me where she is now… just please tell her that I need to talk to her…I don’t want us to be like this Hyo, please…” Taeyeon begged her friend

“okay, I’m not saying that I’ll make her to talk to you but I’ll try my best…but please Taeyeon, Sica has been in a lot of pain and you know that you’ve caused that pain so I’m begging you in case she talked you…whatever happens after that, please...don’t try adding more pain to her… I won’t think twice to hit you again Tae” Hyoyeon said seriously then Taeyeon thanked and hugged her.

It takes Hyoyeon forever to make Jessica agreed to talk to Taeyeon…Hyoyeon took all the flying pillows, shoes, slippers and books just to make her bestfriend to agree…

Of all places why here…this place just reminds me of our happy times… Jessica thought as she swings herself

“I thought you wanted to talk…” Jessica started since Taeyeon is just hanging her head low

 “Remember what they say? One day, someone special will come into your life and make you realize that you lost them for a good reason. That hit me hard when I lost you” Taeyeon started…

 

“and you had Tiffany as a reason for that…” Jessica said

 

“No…. It made me realize how stupid I am”

 

“Don’t do this with Tiffany, She doesn’t deserve this or anyone else” Jessica said tearing up

 

 “No I’m not, Tiffany and I talked about this already, Even she herself knows it and it happens to be that we’re on the same page, it made her realize that I’m not the one for her and she still love her past lover and it made me realize that it’s still you…”
