We never did.

You with your own world,

Me with mine.

We are not thousands of miles away,

Nor worlds apart.

And yet seeing you drifting away

Without being able to stop it,

It hurts me.

But then i woke up.

I woke up from that horrible dream

The dream that i thought was reality.

As i raise my head from the pillow,

i saw you.

Lying peacefully next to me,

Sleeping like a baby.

Oh, what a relief.
