Description
So what if every important promise your parents, friends, family, and boyfriends ever made to you, they broke? Promises are made to be broken. That's how Annabelle thought of it, Annabelle hates when people say "I promise." when she knows it'll just be a lie, so then why hope? So when she finally meets a boy, bent on keeping a simple little promise, will she finally learn to trust? And maybe even love?
Foreword
My father had died right around the time my I had turned six. Two days before my birthday, my father took me to Kahonae Beach. I absolutely loved it there, the wide open space on the sandy beach, the feel of the cool breeze on my face, and the scenery of the ocean. My father made a promise to me that day; he had said that he would always be there for his little princess, no matter what would happen. But two days later, that promise was broken.
