I kept repeating the same words, screaming them to the pitch blackness surrounding me. I watched as his beaten body caging his barely beating heart was pulled away, droplets a crimson making a sorrowful path. My skin turned pale, tears escaped my ducts, and my throat was sore from yelling out his name. I bashed my fist into the ground where he once were sprawled out, coughing out incoherent nothings to me. The sun has blocked the moon and itself from my view, leaving me to dwell in my world of darkness and nothingness. Everything is black without him in it, except for the small blotches of his bloody color that dripped from the invisible sky. The lights and sirens fade, and I’m left alone.
