Why You No Say 'OPPA' to Me?!

"Oh come on just once!"
"No! I'm used to calling you Himchannie, I don't have any intention to call you 'oppa' anytime soon," Hanbyul said as she placed her hand on my cheek. Hanbyul and I have been dating these last few months and I have never heard her calling me - or even trying to call me - oppa. Not even a whisper. How I wish I could hear her say 'oppa' at least once then I'll really believe that this relationship will be complete.
"Yongguk-ah, is it right that Hanbyul and I have been dating for such a long time but she still has yet to call me 'honey' or 'baby' or.. Oppa?"
"I think she's not used to saying all those mushy-mushy terms that you're used to hearing everyday because of your drama addiction," Yongguk said before biting off of his lunch. "She'll call you 'oppa' some day, when she's ready."
"You really think so?"
"Yeah, whatever, maybe. I'm not a love guru or anything nor have I fallen madly in love for a girl once but, yeah maybe someday she'll say it."
"Aigoo.. How long do I have to wait?!" I slammed my head down on the table.
Foreword
Himchan (you) has been pestering his girlfriend of 9 months to call him 'oppa' and she still has yet to do so. Both Himchan and Hanbyul have strong mutual feelings for each other but the only problem is - Hanbyul has never intended to call Himchan by a cute nickname (fyi, Himchan likes to be called upon using a nickname).
She's used to calling Yongguk nicknames like 'hyungnim' and even 'oppa' sometimes although they are the same age. Thus, this resulted in Himchan's dilemma of his girlfriend not calling him by a cute nickname of some sort. So when will Hanbyul finally open up to Himchan, to be comfortable enough to be calling him 'oppa'? Will she get used to calling her boyfriend 'oppa' or will she just do it just to make her boyfriend happy?
