Flightless Dragonfly
Description
There was once a young boy with golden hair and dark brown eyes, crystal clear, watching many stars. Always sleeping at daytime, yet awake at night, paper-thin wings fluttering in the soft wind. Yet he could never fly.
He would never be able to soar in the sky, to do as others did at night, searching for his first, true love. The one he would love forever. Yet he didn't cry or fear, there was always a smile he'd wear. Until one, faithful day. When love seemed to find him in a strange way.
Foreword
Looking at the dark sky, dark, feline eyes widened slightly as he spotted many young girls circling small clouds. His heart felt heavy as he watched them, knowing well that his wings would never be able to lift him up there. He could never join them, not even in his wildest dreams where he would be close to flying, so close he would think he was.
One of the girls, the one with hazel eyes and big, bird-like wings that's color resembled that of a peacock's waved at him, inviting him to join their dance. He just shook his head, a small smile lingering on his rosy lips as his weak, broken wings fluttered slightly, aching to lift him up, up, until he could see the brightness of the stars, touch the cold clouds, join the crazy tango of the others. But he couldn't, and despite his smile, his heart hurt, beating evenly in his chest.
"I just don't belong to the sky, do I?"
AN: Hi everyone. Well this is sort of like a fairytale I guess xD The world in it is different from ours, but now I won't tell you how, you will see as the story progresses xD And... I hope you'll like this :D
