Hyukjae returned from the shower to find a worried-looking Sungmin sitting slouched on his bed.

“Sungmin hyung?” he called as he stepped into his room, drying his head with his towel and not a care in the world that he was just wearing his boxer briefs.

Sungmin looked up and immediately blushed at Hyukjae’s state of undress. However, he couldn’t help but watch Hyukjae rummage around his closet to find his pajamas. He waited until Hyukjae was safely covered by his baggy pajamas before pulling him to sit beside him on the bed.

“What is it Hyung?” Hyukjae asked, yawning as the day’s activities were draining everyone’s energy, including his.

Sungmin stared at Hyukjae’s chin and pouted. “You’re not angry, are you?”

“Huh? Why should I?”

“…I flicked your chin too hard at the game the other day, didn’t I?” Sungmin lifted a hand and started to gently caressed the spot where he had flicked Hyukjae with his fingers as a game punishment in the recording a few days back. “I’m sorry,”

“Oh, that—”

“And I also said some mean things to you, didn’t I?” Sungmin frowned deeper, “I’m really sorry. You know I didn’t mean those things, right?”

Hyukjae smiled, and grasped Sungmin’s hand that was still caressing his chin and jaw tenderly with his own hand.

“We’ve been like this since forever, and you know I never mind. Don’t I always do the same to you, anyway? So we’re always even, right? Why fuss about it now?” despite his playful sentences, Hyukjae gave Sungmin’s hand in his a soft squeeze, reassuring. “Don’t worry about it,”

Sungmin looked away and nodded slowly, “…okay.”

Hyukjae frowned. Something was off with Sungmin. “No it’s not okay if you’re still like this.” he gripped Sungmin’s chin in turn and make Sungmin face him, eyes to eyes. “What happened?”

When Sungmin didn’t answer and just stared at him with puppy eyes, Hyukjae realized what might have been the cause of Sungmin’s uneasiness.

“You’re reading fan’s comments again, weren’t you?”

Sungmin pursed his lips, “Aren’t we always?”

“Then why let them bother you now? Whatever they say, you know me a million times better than any of them. The last time, I was the one getting stressed over this kind of thing and you were the one who convinced me to not mind other people’s opinions… So don’t mind those comments, okay? I’ll bully you a lot next time we record a program, if that would make you feel better,”

Sungmin laughed a little and nodded, smiling when Hyukjae leaned forward and placed a peck on his forehead.

“Although,” Hyukjae started again, eyes staring at the ceiling and a finger on his chin in a comical thinking mode.

“Although?” Sungmin chuckled, anticipating what Hyukjae would say.

“Although, you could do something if you want to make up for the flicking thing. You know, it really stung my eyes even got watery that time,” Hyukjae said playfully.

“Aah,” Sungmin joined the game, “do something, huh? I have an idea. Close your eyes.”

Hyukjae grinned, already knowing Sungmin’s plan and where it would lead to. He closed his eyes obediently. A second later he felt the mattress dip as Sungmin moved, and then lips were on his chin, on the exact same spot where Sungmin had flicked him before. It didn’t hurt anymore, not since days ago when they finished filming, but Sungmin seemed to worry about it a lot, so Hyukjae just let him.

Sungmin put a hand on the back of Hyukjae’s neck to hold him in place, and he started moving his lips and peppering kisses on his chin and jaw. He on the skin there and continued up to Hyukjae’s ear where he swirled his tongue and earned a breathy moan from his bestfriend-and-lover.

He felt hands wrapping around his waist and pulling him even closer. Sungmin smirked and pushed Hyukjae’s shoulder with his free hand so that the younger was lying down on his bed and Sungmin was hovering on top of him, mouth still lingering around Hyukjae’s ear.

“Min…” Hyukjae whispered, “Sungmin-ah…”

“Hm?” Sungmin pushed himself up to look at Hyukjae. Their gazes locked for a few moments. And then Hyukjae smiled that gummy smile that Sungmin loved so much; and he couldn’t help but to smile back with equally wide smile.

As if on cue, Sungmin lowered his head at the same time Hyukjae closed his eyes; then their lips met in a series of playful-but-loving kisses. They both chuckled in between kisses, and Sungmin could feel the heat starting to seep through Hyukjae’s clothes even though he had just finished showering. Hyukjae lifted his hand and got his fingers tangled in Sungmin’s hair, trying to deepen the kiss and wanting to get more of his Sungmin.

Sungmin let Hyukjae engage him in one particularly long and sensual kiss before he detached their mouths and quickly climbed down the bed, leaving Hyukjae breathless and in a daze.

“Huh?” Hyukjae raised an eyebrow, when he saw Sungmin standing at the foot of his bed with an acutely evil smirk. “Sungmiiin~” Hyukjae’s eyes widened when he realized what Sungmin had planned. “Are you seriously going to leave me like this?!”

“Well,” Sungmin grinned, “I did feel bad about it, but I didn’t say I was gonna skip any chance of bullying you.”

“No. way. Not like this!!” Hyukjae pouted and protested some more, but Sungmin only made a kissy face and waved cheerfully.

“Goodnight, my Hyukkie, sleep tight~” he said as he left the room and closed the door with a giggle.

Hyukjae groaned and kicked his blanket until it fell down the bed. He was going to need another cold shower, thanks to a certain someone. Grumbling but not really angry, he dragged himself to the shower once again, making sure to yell loudly when he entered the bathroom.

“Damn you Lee Sungmin! Wait for my revenge!”
