There was a time when love didn't exist. Back in 1425, you didn't marry because you love someone. You marry because you were forced to. Prince Yi Jeong who was destined to become King after his brother decided not to take the throne unexpectedly fell in love with a commoner named Ga Eul. He was willing enough to give up the throne and his social status to be with her. But the King angrily disagreed, sending Ga Eul far away to the vast mountains. Prince Yi Jeong who eventually found out about what the King was doing, tried to find poor Ga Eul even though the King insisted he will never be able to find her. So, Yi Jeong swore that he was going to find her no matter what, even if it took days, month, years, decades, and even centuries.

Mixing royal blood with a commoner's? Reincarnation? That is what Prince Yi Jeong believed in. It's been almost been six hundred years and Ga Eul was still no where to be seen. But in the year 2011, the reincarnated Prince Yi Jeong accidentally meets with the reincarnated Ga Eul who work together to find out about their hidden, mystery past they never even knew about.
