Being eternal seem like a pretty good idea to Sehun, the thought that he would never die fill his head with every possible ending. He could love anyone he want it, and disappear just in the right time, so Sehun would never see them get old or die.

He had traveled all around the world, seen so many beautiful people and yet here he was, waiting for a person that Sehun calls normal.

He had seen him before, a couple of times. Ones in a park, the other time by a bridge that was just outside the city.

The first words Sehun said right before he saw Baekhyun were eyes it was the same expression he had seen in himself, when he was younger. It was a mask that not a lot of people notice; it was a lie that everyday Baekhyun had to tell himself. Just to get through the day

It was the same lie Sehun had told himself every day, before becoming immortal.

Simple words, that mean too much for both of them. It was one of the reasons why Sehun couldn’t let go of Baekhyun, following him everywhere being too careful so Baekhyun wouldn’t notice.  But time was moving to slow for Sehun.

He already want it to touch, love, to feel Baekhyun. And the other boy didn’t know that Sehun existed.

Until one day, one shiny day, by the bridge Sehun finally said “is okay” Baekhyun doesn’t turn to the voice of the beautiful boy, he continues to look at the water “is it really?” alittle of mocking in Baekhyun’s voice

“yes”

“then why do I feel like if I jump right now, the pain would leave”

“the pain would never leave”

Baekhyun finally looks at Sehun, but he didn’t have the expression that everyone has when they see Sehun. Baekhyun didn’t see the beauty in Sehun, he just sees a boy, younger than him, but as normal as everyone else.

Times moves again, but this time Sehun is the one that notices. Every moment he would spend with Baekhyun, it would reflect in Sehun skin. See to continue to live forever Sehun has to keep on moving, if he doesn’t. He would become ashes.

But Baekhyun loved the way Sehun skin would feel. When they lay down on bed, Baekhyun would touch Sehun face, and the rough skin, that tells a million stories, his skin in Sehun skin that’s what he loves.

“I could love you forever” words that always come out of Baekhyun’s mouth

Baekhyun was not coy, as Sehun thought. He was more candid, whatever Baekhyun had in mind he would be straightforward and say it to Sehun. That’s how the fights would always start, and end with them lay down in bed, kissing.

And talking about how they have hearts that are not allowed to love. That what they are doing would soon end, with one of them hurting.

Time continues to move, and now Sehun looks like a 26 years old. Baekhyun makes jokes about how Sehun looks older than him, but that he continues to love him.

Baekhyun and Sehun move in together, Sehun continues to tell himself that his about to leave, that he needs to leave. But he always stays, always sitting next to Baekhyun hugging him so tight. Hearing Baekhyun’s heartbeat, that always makes him stay.

The sun was going down, but it seems like Sehun and Baekhyun wouldn’t leave the beach. Baekhyun is lying down in Sehun's stomach. They are the kind of couple that wouldn’t say much, but explain their feelings in actions.

“Somewhere over the rainbow” Baekhyun begins to sing, it surprise Sehun because all of this time he thought he knew Baekhyun. But now it seems that he was wrong, theres more than what meets the eye.

“Someday I'll wish upon a star and wake up where the clouds are far behind me” Baekhyun continues to sing in a low voice, it becomes a lullaby for Sehun.

Now he can never leave Baekhyun.

Sehun skin continues to give chances to him, to leave. Now he looks 30 and Baekhyun is starting to ask question. But Sehun cant answer them, so now Baekhyun is packing his things, and Sehun decides it for the best.

Baekhyun finds a new place, a beautiful place but it doesn’t matter to him. He continues to cry at night, missing Sehun’s kisses, touches, and his skin.

Baekhyun goes back to the apartment that he used to own with Sehun, but Sehun doesn’t live there anymore. Baekhyun cant stop the tears, he continues to lie to himself that everything is going to be okay. But the lie doesn’t work anymore.

He thinks is for the best, to end this lie, to end the memories. He writes a letter to Sehun, one he knows that Sehun is not going to read. But is the last try

He tells him that he didn’t know love, until he met Sehun. That the times they fought he was waiting for Sehun to leave, and to never come back, that his still cant believe that he always stayed with him. That he continues to think that his a beautiful boy, a boy that would always be in his mind.

That he still remembers what Sehun told him, that the pain never leaves. And that he agrees but if its possible, he hopes the pain would stay, because it would mean that he could have Sehun forever.

Baekhyun walks to the bridge, counting every step he takes. Hearing every step so loud in his ears, tears that havent stop since he left. Chest pain that feels so normal like a heartbeat, a name that wants to say aloud but his afraid, cause he knows his never coming back.

He gets close to the bridge and feels the air, and he takes it like a hug. He gets in top ready to jump; he closes his eyes and begins to count.

“I told you pain never leaves” Baekhyun open his eyes, he knows is his mind that is sounding like Sehun. Because he knows it couldn’t be him “im sorry I left” the voice talks again “but im sick of running, because I need you, I need you Baekhyun”

Baekhyun slowly turns and he sees Sehun, even when his skin looks old, the eyes couldn’t lie “I need you to hug me, and tell me ones again that you love me” Baekhyun comes down and hugs the weak boy “Sehun”

“if I want to live forever, I have to keep on moving but that means I have to leave you behind”

“then leave me behind”

Sehun was losing his breath, as his 107 year old heart couldn’t take it anymore “I love you” Baekhyun begins to cry, it was the first time Sehun actually said those words. Even though they both knew they love each other so much.

“please Sehun, leave”

Baekhyun slowly moves Sehun to the floor, knowing he wasn’t strong enough to continue to hold him

“can you tell me you love me too?”

Baekhyun could barely speak, tears fall in Sehun skin. Baekhyun takes a moment to calm down, but that only brings more tears “I love you......I love you”

Sehun closes his eyes; the strong wind begins to take the ashes of a beautiful boy, who no matter what time did to him. He was still the beautiful boy Baekhyun met, on that day.
