"Mom, I'm home!" Si Yeon bundled through the doorway, only to be pushed back against the door before her feet could touch the hardwood floors.

"What did I tell you about wearing shoes in the house?" her mother chided, holding up a large kitchen fork in her hands in a weapon-like fashion. "We're still Korean, it doesn't mean we don't follow old customs." 

Si Yeon frowned, but reluctantly kicked her black uniform shoes in the corner of the closet never to be found again. "So did Auntie send us anything for Christmas this year? I heard she's very happy to know that I'm spending my first year of high school at a private dorm." she inquired, hopping on the couch. 

"Ah yes, it's over here. And there's a surprise for you." the woman pulled out a packaging box big enough to sit on her lap, the yellow industrial tape ravaged and ripped apart. The return address was from Korea, and many airfare stamps were taped on it as they were being sent to Si Yeon and her parents in Lyon. 

"Since when do they give me surprises?" Si Yeon asked with a smile, slightly intrigued by the sudden bit of attention she was getting. Her hands dove into the box, her palms dissappearing in the bleach white packaging pellets. She pulled out a series of crumpled newspapers, all irrelevant becuase she wasn't the best at reading hangul, and threw them aside. 

"Remember when your cousin stopped replying to your emails a couple years back?" her mother continued.

The girl frowned, but nodded in recognition. "What a jerk face." she mumbled childishly, removing the golden wrapping paper that had her name quickly scrawled on. Si Yeon's dark eyebrows quirked in confusion, staring dumbly at the white cardboard rectangle. She heard that Korean albums were far better packaged than France albums, and she supposed this was a Korean album since the tracklist was written mostly in Hangul. In red there was a fancy infinity symbol printed in the middle with monochrome font. 

"First Invasion, Infinite?" she asked, quickly opening the album and looking through it's contents. Si Yeon almost dropped the unattached photobook when she saw a certain member. No way. "Is that, Sungyeol?" she gasped in disbelief. 

A knowing smile was attached on her Mother's lips. "And that's why he hasn't been responding."
