"...Who are you?" 

Dong Youngbae had his hands on his hips; open comic book dangerously close to falling off his lap and onto the floor, waiting for this strange new boy to introduce himself.

"J-Jiyong.." 

Kwon Jiyong's voice had a small and shy tone to it; something Youngbae took a small bit of pity towards. He tossed the comic book onto the floor and stood up, holding out a hand like he'd seen his mother do when she was greeting those weird business-looking people from work. "'Kay. I'm Youngbae, but call me Taeyang, 'cause I prefer it." Jiyong shook the hand nervously, and Taeyang scoffed at Jiyong's response. "Why're you so shy? I'm not that scary... Anyway, let's go eat!"

Jiyong followed Taeyang to the small blanket laid with plates containing snacks. "Uh... You can call me Ji..."

He might as well try to make friends with someone in this scary new playgroup.

"Heeyyyy I'm Seungri!!" The hyper 5 year old didn't feel the need for a formal introduction as he grabbed onto Jiyong's arm, latching onto it as though he was a panda and Jiyong's arm was its bamboo tree. Jiyong laughed and tried to shake the boy's arm off. 

"I'm Ji! And you can't be Seungri! You're a panda!"

"HEY! LEAVE HIM ALONE!" 

Seunghyun's voice echoed through the hallway, catching the older boys off-guard. Seeing Seunghyun's murderous expression they bolted down the corridor to go elsewhere. Walking towards the frightened kid, Seunghyun put a hand on his shoulder, and the young boy slowly lifted his eyes to Seunghyun's. 

"You saved me! Uh... Th-Thank you, I mean..." Daesung's voice quivered slightly and he had to swallow a good few amount of times to calm down his erratic breathing and sandpaper-dry throat. Seunghyun smiled at the boy and rubbed the shoulder under his palm to help de-tense the boy.

"It's okay! I've been told I can have a scary expression... Dunno what they mean, though..." Seunghyun trailed off, but then shrugged and continued on. "I'm Seunghyun! Wanna meet my friends?"

"Wow, isn't it totally weird that we're all completely different ages and yet we're all best friends?!" Daesung enthused, looking from Seunghyun, to Jiyong, to Taeyang and then to Seungri. "I mean, it's totally unexpected, 'cause we rarely see each other anyway, right?," He babbled, but was stopped by Seunghyun, who simply put a hand over his mouth. “Mmpffff?”

"If you say the word 'totally' once more, you won't be allowed to speak for a week, Dae!" Seunghyun scolded him playfully. "It sounds totally stupid when you say it like that."

"Yeah, totally weird!" Taeyang chimed in happily.

"Totally girly!" Seungri giggled.

"Totally," Jiyong agreed smiling.

"And our ages aren’t that different. You’re the second youngest, but I could really mistake you for the maknae sometimes! Not everybody enjoys hearing their own voice as much as you do," Seunghyun continued still smiling.

"Hey, I don't..." Daesung sighed when his friends broke out in fits of giggles at his pouty expression. He looked down at his tray and poked this... thing that claimed to be pizza with his fork. Why did cafeteria pizza always have to be so... non-pizza-ish? Disgusting.

"No. No, no, I do not think of him like that, I should not think like that, he's a guy, he's my best friend, he's... NO!"

A teddybear was thrown across the room in his rage.

"I'm not gay..." Realization suddenly slapped him in the face.

"....Am I?"

An arm was draped around his shoulder.

"W-What are you doing here?" He blurted out, looking up from his homework to see the figure before him.

"I dunno." A sigh. " Just wanna spend more time with you, I guess."
