Sneak Peak

I shifted my gaze from the ground, as the sound of crowd approached my sense. True enough then, as I watched the elevator door began to open slowly, and about ten people rushed themselves out the elevator. I heaved a sigh, moved myself voluntarily inside the empty elevator. Just when the door started to close, a soft and melodious voice rang on my ear, distracting my thought. It was belong to a woman to be exact.

“ Hold on, please! “

It leaded me to press the hold button immediately. As expected, she made her way inside with total effort, for running in one lightening move. She bowed her body tiredly, catching some air for breath, before managed to straighten her position to a proper one.

“ Thanks…” She murmured. Though, she didn’t say it clearly, I could catch up what was she trying to say with no difficulties.

“ You’re welcome…”

She lifted her head facing me and I felt my throat went dry, the moment our gaze met. She had a pair of dazzling eyes for sure, causing me to having a sudden admiration from the sight.
