Chapter 15 - The Club
Everlasting
2008 - A club in Seoul...
"Kyuhyun! my man..." the manager of the club shouted.
"what's up Hyung! It's been a while..." Kyuhyun said.
"well business still on going... how's my favorite bartender... still looking for a job... well you can have your old job here if you
want..." the manager said.
"no thanks... I have a job as an accountant since that's my course while I'm in the university..." Kyuhyun said.
"oh... well I can't argue with that... that's a high-paying job... so... why are you here today..."
"just to hangout... I wasn't getting any breaks since last week so I took a day-off..." Kyuhyun said.
"oh... well can you do a favor?" the manager asked.
"what favor?" Kyuhyun asked.
"you know... be a bartender just for today... you know your the best..." the manager said.
"well... do I get free drinks?" Kyuhyun said.
"sure!! no problem!!" the manager said.
"well... where's my apron?" Kyuhyun said.
"that's my boy!!" the manager said.
after a while Kyuhyun was throwing bottles in midair while everyone was watching him...
everyone was drinking the concoctions Kyuhyun made...
but there was a girl who was staring at him the whole time... waiting for a chance to talk to him...
"hey you..." the girl said while sitting on the barstool.
"so... you want a drink?" Kyuhyun said.
"show me what you got... pretty boy..." the girl said.
"ok..." Kyuhyun said whil e concocting something.
"here..." Kyuhyun handed over the drink he made.
"that's really good... wow... It has pretty hard hit on it too..." the girl said.
"so... tell me your name?" Kyuhyun said.
"Jung Soo-jung... but you can call me Krystal..." Krystal introduced herself.
"Cho Kyuhyun... at your service..." Kyuhyun introduced himself to her.
"so... Krystal... what brings you here... are you with you friends or you just came alone..." Kyuhyun said.
"well I'm all alone... I always go to the club alone..." she said.
"why?" he asked.
"I don't really have friends... I just came here to take a break from work... being a manager isn't all that fun..." she said.
"So... wanna go out of this place... just to talk..." Kyuhyun said.
"well... I don't really go with guy I don't know but your an exception..." Krystal said.
"ok... wait for me... I'll just tell the manager I need to go out..." Kyuhyun said.
"do you work here?" she asked.
"no... I was requested by the manager... I worked here a long time ago..." he said.
"oh... ok... I'll wait for you outside...she said.
"ok..." he said.
after 10 minutes...
"well... let's go..." Kyuhyun said.
"ok..." Krystal said.
"so... a manager... what do you manage..." Kyuhyun said. while walking.
"I manager my father's restaurant... but just the financial part... my brother's the one who's incharge of the whole business..." Krystal said.
"oh... did you finish accountancy..." Kyuhyun asked.
"yeah... I did... so... what is really you job..." Krystal said.
"I'm an accountant on some bank downtown..." Kyuhyun said.
"oh... well... I really want to talk to you but I need to go now..." Krystal said.
"ok... let me call you a cab..." Kyuhyun said.
"TAXI!!!" Kyuhyun said while waving his hand.
"thanks... and here's my number..." Krystal gave her number to Kyuhyun.
"well thanks for you time..." Kyuhyun said.
"thanks too..." Krystal said while winking at Kyuhyun.
Kyuhyun was waving goodbye to Krystal... then a he got a call...
"Yeboseyo?" Kyuhyun said.
"Hyung... go to our house now... we need to talk..." the other line said.
"why Siwon Hyung?" Kyuhyun said.
"just a meeting with the gang..." Siwon said.
"ok... I'll go..." Kyuhyun replied and turned down his phone.
