Sitting With You Reminiscing
Sitting Beside YouSitting Beside You
---
Walking to the mobile classroom the teacher told Isobel and me to pass around some sheets that we were gonna be analysing for the 50-minute lesson time.
"1,2,3,4" I counted the papers I laid out on the table.
'That's all, isn't it?' I thought.
When I returned to my seat I saw you walk my direction.
'You sit in front row near the window, don't you?' I wanted to say.
As I was taking out my pencil case and English folder, you casually sat on the empty seat beside me.
It's Bridget's seat.
You kinda looked hesitant.
I just couldn't look at you.
I felt embarassed not because I liked you but...
You USED to be someone who I've known even before your current friends knew you.
Your hair looks nice~ you must've had it cut.
A lot has changed since the day I met you when our homeroom told us to share a locker.
Remembering it makes me all awkward again.
Giannina came.
'Is that the reason why you chose to sit in the empty space in between us?' I smiled.
I guess we're still in the same place we started.
The memories makes us like this.
