「PRIVATE SESSIONS」 Consultations for your story writing -*BUSY/CLOSED*-
Description
This is a place where, if you are interested, I will read your story and ask directed and pointed questions that will make you think about what your story is and who your characters are.
And by answering these questions you may be better able to develop an entertaining and worthwhile story to remember!
(Or if you are an advanced writer and need another pair of eyes to pull apart your story, then I can do that too.)
Straight up, this is not a formal review shop. It is not a beta-reading service too. No marks will be given and I won't proof-read your work. Grammar will not be the focus. Your story idea, your plots, your themes, your characters will be the focus.
COST: Time and patience.
WARNING: If you do subscribe and have a look at the chapters ... they will contain SPOILERS
We will be talking about specific plots and characters and because of the level of detail and attention within each session we will ruin a story you may want to read for your enjoyment.
So if you want, check out the status list and have a look at the story and know which chapters to skip out on if you want to read someone's wonderful stories. ^^
Foreword
Rules:
- Have at least 3 chapters done, unless it is a one/two-shot
- I think this is more appropriate for on-going fics but if you are curious for your completed fic then by all means submit it.
- There is a password and that signals your agreement about the cost. Password is 'STOP BREAKING PROMISES UNNIE!'
- Requests are currently closed. The reviewers are going through the current batch of stories.
Request?
- Comment with your title and link to the story and the password. If you want to, you may request a specific reviewer.
- Your reviewer will reply and will chat to check if there is anything you want to focus on - plot development, flow of story, characters, etc.
- Then we will read and think
- Then we will ask the questions; along with the notes we made as we were reading and thinking to explain how we came to those questions.
- And you will try to answer them (if you want) in your own creative writing ^^
Other notes:
These are of our own opinions. Respect them because we will respect your story.
You do not have to 'answer' the questions we ask about your story - you are the author of your story and you can decide whether or not they are valid or necessary.
I (ghibliesque) don't ask to be credited or advertised, although you can if you want. The other reviewers in this service may appreciate it though.
