Decision

Saturday has come; you wore your clothes and brought something for L. Joe’s birthday although he told you not to bother. “This is the place,” you rang the doorbell and stepped backwards.

The door opened, and L. Joe’s face brightened after seeing you. “Happy Birthday!” you hand him a scarf you bought. He smiled and took it, “Thanks, but I told you, having you here is enough” he softly smile,

“I know, I don’t want to come here empty handed.” You shrugged, he pulled inside his apartment. “Are you the only one who lives here?” you asked looking around the place. “Yeah, my parent are in California for work.” You nodded.
