Description
Lim Do Ha is the third daughter of Na Sung Co. She grew up doing nothing but following the wishes of her parents, and so have all her other siblings. Of course, with everything having to be about the success of the company, she had little time to focus on herself. Thus, the meaning of her life was solely about her parents' wishes. At a young age, she was taught to believe that a price had to be paid for wealth, and the price she thought was the price of her life. In a way, she has never been more wrong, but she is right in a way that she never dreamed was possible.
Bang Yong Guk is the eldest son of TS Electronics, Na Sung's bridge for future advancements, and Lim Do Ha's future husband. Business had always been his priority, and he was brought up with the burden of being the eldest heir and leader for future generations to come. Having come so far in life, it gives him two options: to continue living life as it was, or to learn to love – with a price.
Oh Sehun is the youngest son of EXO Jewels. Unlike most of his fellow elites, he believes in a world where dreams are meant to come true, and true love awaits. His belief lands him a one way ticket to a mental institution, where he is to be hidden from the rest of the world. However, it didn't discourage this tough cookie. In fact, he is as hopeful as ever. But is hope alone enough to achieve his fantasies in such a cruel, hopeless world? What happens when everyone turns against you, especially the girl you had the most faith in?

Foreword
My name is Do Ha. I’m twenty nine, and I am in my last year of medical school. As cliché as it sounds, I am getting married in three days to someone I don’t know. His name is Bang Yong Guk, and he is the oldest son of TS Electronics. Being the only daughter that wasn’t married already, I had no choice but to fulfill the wishes of Na Sung Co. and TS Electronics.
Neither of us knows each other. I haven’t seen him before; he hasn’t seen me before. His face is a mystery, but I am not the slightest bit curious. I don’t care who he is, nor will I love him as others may wish. He and I will be merely a link for future companies, and that’s all that will be expected of us.
Love does not exist for us. What they call love is a gateway for potential business collaborations and prospective successors. This is what I was born into, brought up with, and taught. I do not know love, I do not understand it, and I do not want it. This is the cold reality that we have to face. What you have seen in books and movies are not true. They are false depictions of our real lives, and rather lavish portrayals of our hopeless dreams.
Wealth? You’d think it’s everything. Everybody thinks that way – until they become it. People believe that we have everything; that love and bliss are included with wealth. But they’re wrong. It comes with a price.
