I thought I’d try to help some people out with a character profile page, just for those who might not know much about Greek Mythology.  Each time I bring in a god of goddess or any other type of character found in Greek Mythology, I’ll put up a character page after each chapter.

Persephone is the daughter of Zeus and the harvest goddess Demeter.  She is also Hades’ (the god of the Underworld) wife.  She is the goddess of vegetation. 

The furies are always female and are those who deal with the dead spirits.  They give punishment to those who deserve it and also keep watch to make sure none try to escape or no one enters. 

Vanessa, Natalie and Tai are furies and OC’s that I created for the story.  They are assigned to guard Persephone when she is not in the Underworld.  Because they have been with Persephone so long, they have developed some human emotion.  They can also take on a human form incase Persephone ever wants to mingle with the humans.
