CHARACTERS:

IM YOONA

A girl who confesses her love very easily, pretty clumsy, and looks very cute. She takes a while to sort out her feelings, and is confused by what her heart tells her and what she knows to do. At the beginning of the story, she decides that she will not become a lovestruck idiot over Donghae like two thirds of the school, and fails as she becomes more and more curious of him. She becomes more frustrated whenever Donghae calls her Yuri and not Yoona during their relationship. She was more inclined on focusing on the future rather than in the past which always causes their relationship to go in trouble. She looks like a lot like Yuri too, which explains Donghae’s fondness of her in addressing her as Yuri.

"When will you ever recover? When will I be out of her shadow?"

LEE DONGHAE

A popular boy at his school, and most girls have a crush on him. He is an extreme flirt, and he thinks about erted things mainly, but most of all... he's a liar. He's cold at sometimes, and as Yoona says, "He smiles so carelessly." He calls Yoona "Yuri".
Though he seems very cool and calm and very much a player, he has a hard time trusting women. His experiences with his ex-girlfriend and mother affect his trust towards women and causes him to have a strong want to have Yoona. by his side and to never leave him.

"I'm confused! Who do I love? The past who has ditched me or the present who has always been here."

CHOI MINHO

One of Donghaes close friends. Unlike Donghae, , he's kind and considerate, and tends to offer advice to Yoona when she's having problems with Donghae. He once loved Donghae's girlfriend, and begins to do so with Yoona as well.

"I have always been loving the girl who is with him. First Yuri and now Yoona. I am always trying to give up my feelings but now I will do everything to be with her."

JESSICA JUNG

Yuri's adopted sister. She had a crush on Donghae even while he was dating her sister. A week after Yuri's death, Donghae had with her. She originally believed he was simply using her, but later suspects he was pitying her. After DOnghae begins dating Yoona, she becomes an obstacle for their relationship as Donghae continues displaying some closeness with her

"I'm always the third-wheel! Yesterday, with my sister and now with that ? When would I be yours?"

MINOR CHARCTERS:

KWON YURI- Donghae's deceased girlfriend who died in a car accident while with Taecyeon, She was insensitive to DOnghae's feelings and keeps on flirting with other guys. She looks like Yoona.

OK TAECYEON- Yuri's ex-boyfriend who was with her when she died.
