"Why?"  he asked

I throw him a blank look and gave him a bitter laugh "What why?  Does pretending you knew nothing are better than facing the truth...will it hurt less to know everything said behind your back?  Backstabbed, that's  what I felt and that's also made me think of you as the "GREAT PRETENDER"    So stop hiding behind your snake skin....you're great as it is....great at lying."

I saw the shock showing on his face and when he tried to open his mouth to say something, I just lift my hands up as I tell him...."Save your breath...I don't like to hear one more lie from you."

He grab my wrist the moment I turned my back on him as he said "I don't know what you're talking about?  What did I do that makes you so mad at me?"

I harshly pulled my hand from his hold as I repeated the word I heard he had  spoken a while ago "We have nothing...and I am nothing"
