Coffee With Milk (You, Me and Him)
Description
They've overcome numerous difficulties over their relationship. A homophobic society. Their parents' disapproval. But this obstacle might be the one to break them apart.
Based on the Brazilian short film Cafe com Leite.
Foreword
Hyukjae scurries away from Donghae’s house, barely missing his boyfriend’s mother and makes the short journey to his parents’ house. On the way, he attempts to come up with theories on why his parents have called him so many times. Did Kyuhyun set something on fire? The ten-year-old was usually kept in check if you handed him a game console, but who knows? Maybe the batteries died and he broke or damaged something.
When he reaches home, he takes a deep breath before opening the front door, ready for the onslaught of yelling and lecturing. What he finds instead is his little brother huddled by the door, the cordless phone lying by his feet.
“Kyuhyun?”
At the mention of his name, the boy flies from his position and into his arms. The way Kyuhyun is trembling in his arms tells him that something is very wrong.
“What’s going on?”
“It’s m-mom a-and dad,” he stutters out between sobs.
I'll have this out sometime in the next few days.
