He left her forever.

She was heartbroken.

She cried continuously, a river never ending.

She refused to see the sun; to let it shine upon her beautiful face.

She locked herself up… inside her room and inside of herself.         

Her sadness and her despair consumed her every being.

But, soon those feelings changed.

They changed to those of anger. Hate.

She threw it all away. Every gift, every note… gone.

Everything was strewn about, but she couldn’t care less.

She didn’t eat nor sleep.

Just sat in wonder…

Why?

Why did this happen?

Why to me?

She had lost her petals; she felt ugly and weak.

They are her thorns. They must protect her.

They must comfort her, heal her.

She needs them. She needs them by her side.

And they are coming.

They are coming to her because they love her…
