She stood by the window, cheeks stained with tears and eyes swollen as she let another teardrop fell on her cheeks. It's 23th June today, the day he, whom she loved dearly left for his duty one year ago. He was a soldier, a proud Senior Lieutenant who never turn his back to the enemy, and she was proud of him too. He left with a proud smile, though his heart was hurting to leave her alone, but he did eventually because his duty was calling for him.

"I'll leave now," he announced, "please take care of yourself for me." 

she nodded, too hurt to say a word. "You know that I love you so much, don't you?" he said.

"I know, I love you too." She didn't know why she felt so reluctant to let him go that time, and she learned the reason of it two months after he left.

"Goodbye, my love." That was his last word before he took off, and she swore she never see it coming.

The goodbye word seem so surreal now, and she knew it all along, she could never be able to take the hit.

The day when a soldier, wearing a full uniform and hold his hat in between his armpit, that was the day she felt her world collapsing, and within just a second she knew she has lost her world. He left her and she wasn't ready yet. She wasn't ready for the goodbye, she wasn't ready for the lost.

And she could only say, "Comeback to me, please."
