Up In The Air
Description
Foreword
Nana Sorio, a multi-racial mix of Filipino, African American, and Chinese, left her home in the US at the age of 20 with some money, a passport and ambition. 2 years later, she works long shifts in a Chinese restaurant in Seoul, South Korea. It pays almost decent and the management is pretty nice but her life is rather mundane. While dealing with long winded orders, a lazy bus boy, and snide remarks from racist customers, Nana finds herself wondering more and more what compelled her to come to Korea in the first place.
Hangeng'srising popularity in Korea and China with Super Junior is causing him a lot of strife. He enjoys performing but he is becoming closer and closer to wits end. The members of Super Junior mean a lot to him but he wonders how much longer he can take of what is being asked of him. There are many obstacles along the way that places strain on everything and causes different threats against their attempts at happiness and their relationship. A new twist lies around each corner and a new something that is trying to thwart what they have come so hard to maintain is revealed. Will Nana and Hangeng find their happily ever after? Or will their dreams crash and burn? But for now, everything's up in the air...
So Here I Am
◘ I have recently (or not so recently) had my life taken over by Super Junior and was introduced to Super Junior fiction a few weeks ago. Hangeng ended up high on my Bias list this week and I had a dream about him and some unknown girl. And it sparked my imagination and this is what happened. It was inspired by my dream, The Joy Luck Club and other various factors of life. This story is about discovery, love, loyalty, and finding the place where you belong. There will be drama (what good story doesn’t have drama) and not everything will be smooth sailing for the main characters.
◘ Comments are loved. Subscribers are loved. Hangengs are loved. >w> Elfs are loved. Cookies are loved. Philtrums are fondled loved. Criticisms are welcomed (constructive or otherwise; but if you get fresh with me, I’ll get fresh right back with you, beech. ;o)
◘ Please bear with me if I get details about certain things wrong. ; A ; I am trying to be grammatically articulate and all that jazz.
