Meet SunHee Kim. She's your stereotypical nerd from Seoul, Korea.

Meet Kris Wu, the ever-handsome popular kid that rules the school.

SunHee and Kris were the best of friends ever since they were kids. They played together and hung out together.

All this until sophomore year.

Kris's only weakness is his popularity. He stops talking to SunHee and starts to bully her.

Soon SunHee loses all of her friends because they have changed with the time and SunHee is still herself.

When she has no one to go to, she turns to Kris, to only be rejected again.

Sick of Kris's crap, SunHee decides to move away to America to live with her aunt.

Kris never realizes what he felt about her until she leaves. But two years later, she's back and she's the most beautiful girl at school and Kris wants her back.

What happens when she comes back as a different person and realizes that the prince of popularity is falling for her? Will she ever forgive him or will she walk away with someone else?

SunHee Kim

A sweet, caring girl with limited confidence. People may think she's ugly, but she has the potential to be really pretty and she isn't a mean person. Also known as Sunny.

Kris

Prince of Popularity. He realizes things too late but learns from his mistakes. Every girl at school wants him and his 5 other friends, EXO-M. He's a really nice and caring person, but lets his weakness (his social status) get the better of him.

Tao is the youngest out of Exo M. He's a reserved person who loves martial arts (Wushu in particular) and isn't afraid to show his emotional side here and there. He doesn't like hearing the things the rest of the boys say mostly about Sunhee and doesn't like joining them in making fun of others.

Sunhee's friends in America:

Deena

A hardcore music lover who's loyal and sticks up for her friends and doesn't tolerate any b.s. from anyone. She's also a tomboy :) One of SunHee's best friends when she moves to America.

Katie

Very smart and very musically inclined. She plays violin and plans to go to the Curtis Institute of Music, a music school in the US. But she's really crazy and outgoing. Deena's best friend. After Sunhee moves to America, the three become best friends.

Michelle

A smart girl who brings joy to anyone. She's really funny and knows how to cheer up her friends when they're down. Very shy around strangers. Also a friend of SunHee in America.

Stephanie

A party girl who really likes to shop and is best friends with Michelle. She aspires to be a designer someday. Short-tempered, but extremely sweet.
