Sungmin picks him up in a run-down apartment one summer evening. No, that's a lie -- he kills his mother first, then notices the boy huddled against the wall and staring at him with wide eyes. He smells the fear before the boy even realizes it himself. It's delicious, in its own right. Sungmin can feel his tongue curl in on itself unconsciously.

"It's alright," Sungmin says, baring his teeth, "I won't hurt you, not at all."
